But seriously though. MN really is the only midwestern state in the country that has progressive laws and policies. Dayton owns. The light rails own. Sidewalks on every street and gay clubs own. It's also humbling to know that we're in the top 5 when it comes to economic growth coming out of the recession. I mean, a new viking stadium being built soon, MOA beginning construction of its phase 2, the 60 year old strip mall across the road from me being torn down in order to make a new 6 story apartment complex plus a brand new strip mall. We had a 4% chance to be born in America and a much smaller chance to be born here, and whadya know.
I may not be gay but gay clubs do own they have such a nice atmosphere when you enter
I may not be gay but gay clubs do own they have such a nice atmosphere when you enter
Y'all know about the Gay 90's Fire?
Y'all know about the Gay 90's Fire?
I do not.
Its not worth explaining, just a lot of men hitting on the firefighters
I always go in and out of the east entrance, and there's always tons of spots available for me when I go. So I never really cared to look around the entire outside of the mall.
Ah, that makes sense, gotcha. Yeah, the east side doesn't really have much going for it, other than the Metro Transit hub and the light rail stop.
Any of you going to CONvergence in july? I'm going with quite a few people and today is the last day to get discounted pricing. I'm probably going to be volunteering a fair amount of the time too~
Ah, that makes sense, gotcha. It always seems to be the first entrance to be closed if there's some big event too.

What kind of industries thrive in Minnesota? It looks like a wonderful place to live. Also, what are the top colleges there?
What kind of industries thrive in Minnesota? It looks like a wonderful place to live. Also, what are the top colleges there?
I suppose fishing is a pretty big thing here, and ice-fishing during winter. At least among a vast majority of my friends. And I live just a little outside of downtown saint paul so I regularly see tons of different types of shops, but they all seem to be doing pretty well off? Dollar stores seem to be pretty common too. I'm not too sure if anything is thriving or failing though! And it's probably entirely different if someone lives in one of the more rural areas of Minnesota. Some colleges i can think of off the top of my head: - University of Minnesota - St. Thomas - McNally Smith College of Music - Macalester - University database (if you're looking for something specific)
