Are Michiganders allowed in here?
That's in the midwest is it not?
That's in the midwest is it not?
Touché, so, better question, any Michiganders on Facepunch?
Dunno if anyone is from Cannon Falls but, I got to see one of their new Police cars getting painted (stickered): [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11823009/Explorers/Park%20Patrol/2012-05-18%2019.04.52.jpg[/t]
Damn that look smooth.
The fourth of July in Minnesota is not like anywhere else. HUGE parties, family, beer, food, many 'legal' fireworks, big celebrations put on by the cities... and of course: The endless supply of candy for the young ones. The second best time of the year just knocking on our doorstep
I love your emphasis on "legal". Everyone who's anyone goes to ND/Wisconsin to get their fireworks
Damn you living in the booming part of the state. :argh: I have to constantly check Plymouths website to see when they're going to tear this dinky abandoned 1950s strip mall across the highway from me. All so they can build a McDonalds and an apartment for old people.
Its mostly redevelopment, and all of our roads are Hell-a old and are filled with potholes that can eat a tire
Anyone been to the 5-8 Club to get some Juicy Lucy's?
Buffalo Tap is pretty good.
Does anyone want to meet-up and go to the Volbeat concert on the 26 of June? Tickets are only $30 and its at the Myth
Does anyone want to meet-up and go to the Volbeat concert on the 26 of June? Tickets are only $30 and its at the Myth
The Myth is open again? Fuckdicks, I've been gone for a long time. I'd go If i didn't already have plans to go to LA
Damn. I'm trying to get a group of people to go.
Its road construction season season in Minnesota. and this is only the last part of my commute.. the first-half is just as good.

Last 4th of July my friend smuggled in bottlerockets from Wisconsin and suddenly 6 cop cars instantly parked in front of my home.
I own southern IL, land of beer and dairy
Goddamn MORE motherfucking rain.
Haha, traffic going out of the cities saturday was awful, me and my friend were going into the cities and the roads were practically empty Coming back today was pretty much the same, except everyone was going back towards the cities rather than coming from the cities. lol holiday traffic
It went from 80+ and super humid to 45-50 as soon as the sun went down
Walker vote: Electric boogaloo
Victoria reporting in. City of Lakes and Parks. Lots of lakes, lots of parks. Except the only road through here is getting ripped to fuck this road construction season so i get to listen to that for the entire summer. Hooray
Welp. This is probably the closest I'll be to a chat thread for me based on locale. Sioux Falls, South Dakota here, I live about 15-30 minutes from the Minnesota border. However, I've enjoyed whatever time I've spent in Minnesota: BWCA, Lake Cass, Luverne Drive-in, soccer tournaments in the Twin Cities.
Anyone else really feeling the road construction yet? Cedar Ave, and Hwy 13 are kicking me constantly in the balls. Now I found out that Yankee Doodle (my cities life-line) is down to one lane, both directions. So. Much. Traffic. So. Much. Orange.
Suppose this is the closest thread I'll get to my city, so greetings from Beloit WI Damn bridge construction is killing me.
I'm in a different country, hell, but here in Canadia where I live people like to make weekend long trips to the states. Furthest into the US I've been is Thief River Falls. Not much there but a bloody Casino. Wheee! People there are damned nice though. Almost like us Canadians. Don't feel alone with the road conditions/traffic problems/horrible accidents. Directly up north of you folks ~3 hour drive is about the same thing!
Southwest Minneapolis represent.

Northern MN = Small Canada
I see Midwesterners welcomed, but then I noticed this is a Minnesota thread, why is there no Illinois thread? The coolest mod lives in Illinois, daijitsu.
I've heard Hibbing is a pretty shitty/ghetto town. Is this true?
Hibbing sucks.
My friend almost got jumped in Hibbing.
