I don't think Africa cares about your level 80 druid
Yes they do.
Fuck Africa
I do concur.
There will always be shit we have to deal with, our generation always makes a big deal out of something (even if it's not)
Just the less useful ones.
Rappers go bye bye.
Those who have money are living in Golden Age :clint: I have only few bucks.
Fuck Africa
You might get AIDs, though. :ohdear:
What's wrong with atheism? It improves society a lot when you don't have religion getting in the way of progress.
it's just not a reason to say this is a golden age. religion prevents progress, not a belief in god. all atheism shows is that we're opening ourselves up to newer ideas which does not equal a golden age

We are not in the Golden Age. The Golden Age will always stand as the 1930's-1950's the time of auctual real men. Not these pussy asses now-a-days who complain about having to goto war. In my own belief anyone who says anything about this being the Golden Age should go up to a WW2 war vet and ask them what they saw... I can even say the Vietnam War was apart of the golden age till people began abusing drugs and shit.... Fun story about the Vietnam that my Grandpa told me? When he was in their he was put on an Airbase just barley off the coast of SV. During his time their he lost a lot of his friends his most horrific story he told me was a story about how one day a little Vietnamese famliy went to the base supposedly trying to get some spare money from GI's... The story was alot diffrent. A little child about eight wanderd down from her mother and went to go get some cash ,my grandpa's friend decided that he would take the change from him and himself and combine it up for some goodwill for the famliy. As he went over to the little child and got ready to hand her the money the real story came unvailed; she was holding a bomb. My grandpa's friend got blown to hell only ten feet from my grandpa. My grandpa got a few burns and shrapnel for physical damage but as for mental and emotional damage he got really screwed up cause his best friend died in a blast of gut and blood only feet away from him. The worse part was he had to write the deathnote home to the famliy of the lost. Meaning, he had to go through blood and guts to look for a dogtag. Now-a-days, I could bet you none of your soldiers would ever do that, they would probaly break out into tears and run away like little girls.
You're on the Internet FFS. That automatically means you're in a wealthy community. Look at that picture of the dead boy. That's no gold age if I've seen one. Once we get every human on earth living at the level that the average middle class American lives at, I'll agree we're in a gold age.
Praise the golden age and all of our comforts.
the world always had terrible things in it, nothing was ever perfect. the op is right though, at this point in time despite all the fucking idiotic shit that goes on (the iraq war being the most pointless wars ever in this modern age) we are living in a wondrous time incomparable to any other period in history. most people take it for granted though and many will die not even knowing they lived in the most progressive (in almost any way imaginable.. okay maybe not but you get my point) period in human history yet.

Right, because an economic recession and a constant worry of an environmental crisis is a tell-tale sign of a golden age. Virtual worlds don't mean shit if you can't take care of the real one.
Golden age: Where you start pissing money and shitting out valuable gold structures (and I mean the whole world pissing out money and shitting out gold structures) I doubt a golden age will soon happen.
We never sacrificed three great people, how could we possibly be in a golden age?
Makes sense. But for some reason I still don't call it a Golden Age, we are failing very hard also. Oil problems, inflation, war, pollution, depletion of Ozone, slender man etc etc.
Eh, Shit happens. No matter what period of time you go to something is effecting the general world's population.
ITT: We need to get rid of humanity to save the planet
You first.
Humans believe in development and personal gain more than a stable healthy environment. Eventually this will backfire. No we are not in a "Golden Age" and we are not heading towards one.
Wow we have fucking technology amazing, but millions of people are dying of simple starvation and diseases that we can cure. THIS IS A GOLDEN AGE.
People in the 1500's thought that their technology was amazing.
yes, but ours truly is
yes, but ours truly is
In 100 years from now people will laugh at our lack of "amazing" technology. And so on.
