im willing to doubt that. the significant leap in general development, technologically, socially etc etc is staggering when compared to any other point in the past, up until this point it was mere baby steps, but lately it's been leaps and bounds. even if those bounds increase exponentially, this time we are in will be at least somewhat if not greatly remembered and respected throughout our remaining history. im not saying everything is like the fuckin jetsons. it's a fairly subtle thing as the world is going to be portrayed as a shitty place because it sells better than optimism. but rest assured we're living in the crux of human history.

The world is going better than ever, crisis or not, I don't know if we can call it a golden age, but it sure is the best moment to live in in history until now.

When it comes down to it all we can really do is bear with and try to fix the problems that exist whilst forging the path ahead. So in that sense I suppose you could say there isn't a "golden age" rather just a "better age" and even that in itself is pretty relative.

No, these are the worst times humanity has ever saw and it'll just get shittier down the road.
Eventually, man's urge for domination will come back in rage and send us back to a hellish way of living. Don't worry though, it's just human nature to do it, but then again, we are HUMANS, we can defy our instincts and have the ability to reason.
