Uhhh Golden Age is relative to the theatre. Obviously the golden age for USA was sometime in the 60's - 70's with the civil rights revolutions and free love blah blah blah. In the Islamic world, it was sometime in the middle ages. In Europe it'd be NOW since it's the only fucking time when there's not a war.

I think Doriol is trying to say it limits the scope of your perspective because it could cause people to be biased and / or look away from the answer that could be sitting right under their nose. What I was saying so long as you have the sense to know when to follow such beliefs, it's not a problem.

The age before humans existed was the golden age. all were doing is destorying the planet.
We're not destroying the planet. We're not meteors. You could argue that we're destroying the environment, but no. Not really. We're just changing it, slowly.
