I fucking hate mixing vodka unless it's cheap, co-op or asda brand. We had a bottle of smirnoff and some shitty stuff, and someone had the bright idea of mixing it with orange juice, which is a big fucking no-no, and they could've at least used the shitty stuff instead of the smirnoff.
I love this local vodka called Blackwoods. Its £20 a bottle but the best god damn vodka I've ever tasted. Its just like water.

To be fair I once drank way too much vodka in one night and blacked the fuck out and woke up on my bathroom floor with puke everywhere and some still in my mouth, and I still drink after that. Some people learn their limits the first time that happens and be more careful from then on, others just decide that alcohol ain't their thing and that they'd rather spend their dosh on ganja cookies or something.
1 bad experience like that shouldnt keep you from drinking again. People get terrible hangovers afterword and say how they will never drink again. The first time i got drunk i puked everywhere and got retardedly sick and dizzy, i still enjoy getting drunk just have to make sure i dont over do it.
I'm not saying that you definitely shouldn't drink or use drugs again because of a bad experience, if that were true I wouldn't be smoking weed or taking Adderall anymore. I'm just saying that if you really don't want to drink anymore, because of a bad experience or otherwise, well...what's wrong with that?
I mean people who use drugs tend to use the argument "we should be allowed to do what we want with our own bodies", but to then go on and say "aww come on man give it another shot don't stop using it just because you almost went the way of hendrix"...that just seems like kind of a discrepancy to me, you know? Who's he hurting by *not* wanting to drink? (besides the liquor industry :v:)

Maybe, but a "good time" for one person could be feeling dizzy and nauseous and banging your shins on the table for another. There's people who love smoking weed, and people who just get crazy anxiety and paranoia from it. People who enjoy the rush of amphetamines and feel that it improves their mental performance, and people who just feel like they're gonna have a heart attack and die when they take them. Like I said, I almost killed myself drinking before and I still stuck to it, but to him perhaps his prior experiences simply weren't that fun and the last experience just pushed him over the edge and solidified the idea in his mind that it's not the sort of drug he's looking for.

Pretty much this.. ive tried alot of drugs and none beside synthetic thc has given me a high that i really like.
I got pretty sick a few times from drinking wayyy too much jack at a party once. I still drink. Took me a while to get on that horse again though.
Some advice: if hard liquor is giving you trouble then get really stoned and drink beers for a while. The weed will make the beer taste better and you can slowly work your way up to drinking hard liquor from there after a little while.
I personally like beer better than liquor most of the time anyways
except goldschlager. if I had some of that I would probably accidentally drink it all straight from the bottle and die just because of how delicious it is.

I really quite like Tuborg, but mostly because it's fairly cheap. 8 bottles costs about £5 cheaper than other brands of lager, and it's tastes nice and is very drinkable.
