Christ, when i was a lot younger I used to have panic attacks which felt a lot like this video, spooky.
Good thing I got over it.
Say that close to me and you'll need one. Working with people or having people with autism in the family is constant work and especially emotional work.
You need to make it so that they are in their comfort zone in order not to mess things up for them and understand the way they react and why.
Even if she didn't have autism, she could still use a dentist.
Is saying that an autistic child should go to the dentist offensive?

Yes and completely irrelevant to the topic of conversation, can you imagine someone autistic going to the dentist after watching that video? No. Me neither.
Looks like she's tripping on acid.

Crazy wrote a innocent joke, that didn't have anything to do with autism. Then Rank gets all offended, only because the person referred to in the joke is autistic. That's like saying it's racist if I mention a black person having crooked teeth. [sp]It's not[/sp]
This reminded me a lot of the story of how that girl with extreme autism seemed completely out of it but she could type on a keyboard to communicate just fine. Turns out this is the same girl.

After watching the video, alongside the other one mentioned above, I wish the thread title was different. It really is amazing how fluent her typing is.
I was fine until I got to the bold because I've never heard anyone ever say that. I usually just assume they're being dicks and leave it at that
included it because it's a catch-all that tons of people use when trying to defend themselves after saying offensive shit.
this feels more like paranoid schizophrenia than autism
Not really. It would be more like this.

This is exactly what it feels like when you've smoked a bowl and a half and your dad suddenly shows up for a surprise visit.
Time skipping and everything.

Dam that schizophrenia was really scary, I actually have no clue how I would be able to live by myself without meds if I had it. I''d probably just try to ignore it but then after a while get inanely annoyed.
