That's gotta be the cutest fucking thing I've ever seen.
Is it stuck? Or just lazy? I can't tell...
How adorable.
fuckin' bird's drunk
Why does he keep smacking his head against the floor?
yay! It's out
I was playing You're the Best by Joe Esposito just as it got out. FTW
What are you going to do with these? Do you own some land or will you sell them?
He's probably going to use them as riding animals.
What are you going to do with these? Do you own some land or will you sell them?
They're pets.
Can you cook it now? [editline]8th March 2012[/editline] It can't even hold it's head up :3
Can ya move the camera back please?
The camera is backed up as far as it'll go. [editline]8th March 2012[/editline] Well that's all for now, I'll leave the cam up for anyone who wants to have a look at the new Emu. In a few days Egg B will hopefully hatch, or I'll have to break it out myself, we'll see.
Well hi there
I moved the camera to the other side now.
He's gonna have a killer kink in his neck when he wakes up.
This is actually one of the most adorable things ever
Cute, but have you fed it yet?
Awww:smile:
I showed this to a friend, and we had an argument about which is better, ostrich or emu. I was on the emu's side, ostriches are creepy
Cute, but have you fed it yet?
It's still feeding off it's yolk which has been drawn up inside it's body just prior to hatch.
I showed this to a friend, and we had an argument about which is better, ostrich or emu. I-Is the show over? :(
Yup, that's all for now, one down one to go. The new Emu is now sleeping in it's new home.
I spent about an hour watching it (kept it on the side of my screen) before it hatched, and then I took a nap. Then it hatched. :(
I got pecked in the head by an emu so I hope you do a better job of raising yours than nature did.
How big do these get?
How big do these get?
2 metres (6.6 foot) at most. [editline]9th March 2012[/editline] In height, they are the biggest native bird of Australia.
I don't think I've actually ever seen an Emu up close before, only at the San Diego Zoo. Out like 20 miles from Tucson, at Picacho Peak there's an awesome Ostrich farm where you can feed them. I think they're sort of dorky compared to emus, which look like they have a brain in their heads :v:
I always thought the Emu was one of the better looking Ratites. Doesn't help that Ostriches and Rheas tend to have bad tempers.
Could you ride them?
They just hatched, what do you think?
