So how is B doing?
Still alive, talking and shuffling around too.
I gave it some vitamins and water not too long ago (Which it wasn't too happy about).
If it makes it through the next day or two I think it'll be alright.
These are currently the most adorable animals
Anywhere.

Do it.

Name one of them Toothless, because they don't have teeth. Also, have you thought about how to feed them? Pretty sure you need some small stones to grind the food.
what are you going to do when it gets huge? I mean i can't imagine living in a house with two emus.

its rr_raptor, im pretty sure he knows what hes doing
this is the guy who once built a blunderbuss (i think)
They'll live inside with me for the first 1-2 months then I'll move them into the garage, letting them out during the day. Once they reach full size they can stay outside all the time. But I have a pretty good chunk of land for them to live on so they'll be alright.
I also spent quite a bit of time calculating their dietary requirements, I'm using an even mix of Chicken Brooder pellets, Rabbit Feed and Chick Starter, 150 pounds of that all together cost $30 and will last well over a month and a half. Once they reach full size I'll remove the Chick Starter.
It'll work out well because by the time I move them out of the house the weather will be warmer and I won't have to worry about them being cold in the garage.
But I'll probably end up with just the one, the Chick that came out of Egg B is in very poor condition and likely won't get better so I'm probably going to have to put it down.
The other one is absolutely thriving though, it's figured out how to move around on it's feet, it just hasn't mastered 'standing' or 'stopping' so it's like watching a rocket being launched when it gets up to go somewhere.
That's really sad :(
I hope B get's better
Best of luck to my fellow straya-bro
You should name them Tweedledumb and Tweedledickhead.

No, this is the guy that builds Roman armor, field cannons, swords and guns.
I got a kick out of the nutrition label for the feed:

Just in case. :v:
And some more pictures, I tried getting a picture of the oldest walking around but it decided it was time for a nap when I got the camera.

B seems to be getting better too, it still holds it's neck funny but it doesn't seem as bad as it was on Friday.

You should take one as your loyal steed.

They'd be the cutest fucking mounts known to man.

My vote stays on Abbott and Costello if they both survive.
One of my relative's neighbours owns an ostrich.

no
There used to be an ostrich farm close to where I live.
And I live in Norway so it was rather weird passing by ostriches now and then.
Does your government know that you are hosting insurgents?
That is so awesome. In the last picture its expresion is like "whaddafuck?", too good.
If that was the first time I'd seen a camera I'd probably be going "whaddafuck?" too.
