I've come to two conclusions today, the first being that research chemicals are kinda crap, the second being that codeine is something that I wouldnt mind looking into more.
A while ago I bought some MPA and really didnt get along with it, it hurt to do lines of, tasted nasty as hell, and made me more iratable and was quickly flushed.
I got some synthcaine out of curiosity and im not feeling this too much either. It has a similar texture/burn/taste to MPA, and its been mentioned that synthacaine has something to do with it, im keeping this vague because i dont know the details. After dosing up with it yesterday and today, both times I can say I felt really sort of focused on certain things. I was on the phone yesterday to a friend, and the view from the window seemed quite... detailed I guess would be the right word. Today I was looking up the CWA process on my phone (see bellow) and the screen of my phone and my hand felt like they were very sharply in focus. Its strange, I feel as though certain things are in great detail, but its only a very small area, and I find interacting with people more difficult.
As for codeine, I went down to the local chemist and picked up some co-codamol earlier on today, and took 4 tablets when I got home. They were the 8mg/500mg type. I hadn't had any paracetamol that day so it's not like that was a risk. They gave me a mild overall calm feeling, and like my body was a little heavy. Some time when my family are out for a while I'm going to have to try cold water extraction on these things. $1.68 really isnt bad for 32 pills, which is a fair amount of times I can do whatever it is I do with them, and get to mellow out for a bit.
I'm well aware that opiates arent something to be taken lightly, and the fact that they're quite easily accessable makes them more desirable, but I'm an incredibly lazy person and the idea of continually doing cwe bores me so much, and I'm not stupid enough to neck tablet after tablet, because I kind of like not having liver problems.

Yea being lazy isn't really an excuse that you won't have an issue, I actually think becoming addicted to opiates has made me an overall less lazy person... well at least when there's opiates in it for me.

Left is smaller by a few millimeters, and is less pronounced and doesn't look cleanly pressed, possibly because it's gone through some wear in transit. Right looks clean as hell, slightly different in color, and the pill's details are more pronounced and easier to see.

Worst i've heard about benzo tabs are one that are pressed together with other benzos. If the one you think isn't Xanax is slightly yellow in color or such, i've heard it's a knockoff. No reports on effects.

It could be sugar pressed into a xanax shape for all we know. Best bet is a simple aqueous extraction. Decant the solubles and evaporate. If you pull less than what you expected then it probably isnt xanax. Make sure to use a selective solvent for alprazolam
Just found out today I can get some 350ug tabs (Dalai Lama?) and Golden Caps. 60 for an eighth and 25 for the tab. Which would be a better trip?

Main difference I have read is that LSD is more controllable and sterile, while as mushrooms are more mystic. Given my last experience with mushrooms, I can recommend them if you want to see mystic stuff, want to relax but perhaps not go around and see funny colors. You can probably get two trips out of that amount of mushrooms, as well.
LSD is more fractals, CEVs and bright, colorfull colors. Haven't tried it yet, though.
Both of these sound kinda pricey, though.

Both of those prices are pretty high. On the darknet you could probably find shrooms for less than $5 a gram. And lsd for less than $10 a tab (though not near 350ug)
But if you insist upon one of the two, go with the lsd. Better bang for your buck

I've gotten bars off the deep web before, and they were fakes, however the vendor professed that they were 2.3-2.5 mg instead of just 2. I gotta admit they fucked me up.

He's going to need a better extraction method than decanting & evaporating if he's gonna pull 2 milligrams. Not to mention he'll need a scale which is accurate to the milligram.

Crush the xanax to a fine power, put into shot glass or small glass. Cover with a few ml's of 190 proof alcohol (95% ethanol, which xanax is soluble in). Assuming a bar weighs around 250mg, and only 2 of the mg are expected to be xanax, the ethanol should separate quickly from most of the remaning powder (binders if it's a real xanax, or other drugs that might have been in the pill which aren't soluble in ethanol). Strain through a coffee filter and squeeze out as much ethanol as possible from the powder. Do this another time just in the case you might have lost some alprazolam during the straining. Decant before straining the last of this second pull, careful not to disturb the sediment at the bottom.
Evaporate ethanol for pure alprazolam or whatever was in the pills that was ethanol soluble (use a super tiny surface, 2mg isn't much).
Alternatively you could just drink the ethanol-aprazolam solution to bioassay. Or you could find some absorbent paper and drop the ethanol solution onto it. You could probably fit 2mg onto 2 LSD sized tabs.
Obviously if evaporation yields anything beyond a few mg's than it's not pure alprazolam.
Also those peyotes are massive, I wish i could get a cutting of that.

I think you're overestimating the volume of 2mg a little bit, getting evaporated 2mg out of a shot glass ineffective if not frustrating. You must also consider there are most likely ethanol & h2o soluble inactives in the pill binder, esp. if it's an illicit press

You're right binders can be soluble in h2o, it would be better to go with 100% ethanol to make sure no binders are picked up.
