When I had to stop smoking I ended up drinking for the first time and smoking my first cigarette within the first month away from weed. Something about quitting it makes damaging drugs seem more reasonable at the time, but in my experience at least that faded away and I ended up putting more time into interests and school. The first month and a half is the roughest psychologically but it got way better for me.

How is Focalin? I've tried Adderall, Vyvanse, and Concerta, but never Focalin.
Addy is a little "bumpy" for me - it varies in intensity a lot and the side effects hit me like a bitch (dry mouth, halitosis, sweating, cold extremities, dry eyes, etc).
Vyvanse is great, smoother than addy, works just as well. Too long-lasting for me most of the time, side effects still suck.
Concerta just feels dirtier than amphetamines. It doesn't wake me up as much and I feel way more exhausted when I'm on it. It's not bad but I prefer Vyvanse.
I need to get a new script and sell some when I move back home. Good side income since I don't use it very often at all.
Focalin is very clean feeling compared to concerta, it has a lot fewer physical-feeling side effects, but your appetite and ability to sleep will disappear, and taking it for more than one day in a row starts to make you feel like shit pretty quickly
I have a huge stockpile from having a 60x5mg per month script for a while, I've been considering selling it in bulk to a dealer, I could make some decent cash but I think using it sparingly for when I need to be really productive/I feel like abusing it because it's fun in -very- controlled amounts (well basically no redosing and taking a few days off between each use)
Even though I definitely have a substance use problem I have pretty good self control, but snorting it is very very moreish and not a whole lot better (although I'm still pretty shitty at snorting stuff). I think I just prefer a slower come-up at a higher dose, snorting it is a lot more tweaky and it can sometimes cause random muscle spasms which is a bit disconcerting

She's really weird about the white stuff, she told me she wanted to "get rid of her demons" and flush it since she had a really bad problem when she was a teenager. I told her I'd pay what I could but when she was trying to sell it to other people (aka not her friends who she's worried about getting addicted) she was trying to sell the whole 2 grams for either 2 points of black or $60, so it's not like I'm expected much.
On the bright side I just railed 2 little lines and smoked 5 or 6 hits and I'm beyond the fucking moon right now.

Before I did meth I thought all those meth logic jokes were... just jokes.
But, meth logic actually exists, mostly after not sleeping for at least 24 hours... You start doing things with no meaning, taking apart a VCR and putting it back together, spend an hour or five "cleaning", really it's just an extremely odd method of "reorganising" where you touch and move every object in your apartment...
(these are all things I've personally done).
