So I have to come up with a game on my own, but only get to choose shows that don't include the really good ones?
i just didn't pick a show
First Facepunch census, i love this website so much

Then consider me hooked
SH most hated subforum, calling it.
Well, or Rust. Tight race.
Personally I'm going with SH.
It's gonna be SH. Shitposts increase logaritmically with every happening.
Rust evolved and with it, the subforum. No more 11 year old shitlords begging for a free game and it's not a DayZ clone anymore.

Say what you will about Rust, but when you take away the players and replace them with people who aren't total turds, it can be a fun game.
UPDATE: I was debating on whether or not to release the results today, but I've got a milestone in mind that we're close to reaching so I'll leave it up for a little while longer. Results should be coming in soon

in the meantime, discuss favorite types of cheese
Not to derail the thread, but it's a bit of a touchy term. Geographically it makes sense, but the term has some certain political & imperialistic connotations, and understandably is unpopular in Ireland due to the state's history over time. The Irish government doesn't use the term, and the UK Government avoid using the term when referring to Ireland.
There have been more neutral terms suggested over the years, but The British Isles has always been the most popular one.
Thanks for explaining it. I probably should have made it much more clear that I was joking but yeah, it's not a popular nor liked term over here.
It'd be much more appropriate to either have both Britain and Ireland included in Western Europe or have them as separate.
mozzarella cheese is pretty good especially when melted
port salut is really tasty even just on its own

Oh, I had no idea, I did struggle with that question a bit. It'd feel wrong not to have a specific UK option in a forum based there, so is "UK and Ireland" the generic format?
By the way, I'm thinking of including all these suggestions in the OP for future reference, in case whoever makes the 2018 census wants some guidelines. If ya'll have something that hasn't been said in this thread before, feel free to contribute. Right now I'm thinking the political questions should've had "Yes/No, but not for the reasons above" options, for example

I've always kinda thought about that under political alignment, you should get people to rate themselves on scale of -10 to 10 on a left right economic axis, and -10 to 10 on a social axis. This would make the result compatible with "The political compass": https://www.politicalcompass.org/analysis2?ec=0&soc=0
Basically those who want to can take the test, those who don't want to can simply plug in some values. Then you average the two axis out, and then we can determine how left leaning facepunch really is. That way it really isn't any more work than it currently is, and those who want to can make the extra effort.
I know the political compass isn't all that great necessarily, but it's definitely better than simply "far right" or "far left", and it also allows for the averaging for an overall score.
Edit: Also beyond that I think Scandinavia should be included as an option like last year. According to last year's poll we make up about 8%, more than all the Asian options combined.
Halloumi is THE dog's bollocks. Fry that shit and serve with pitta bread and tzatziki for a good time

Facepunch: land of the White, Middle Income, Atheist, Left-Leaning, Non-College Graduate Young Adult
Pretty sure you mean unemployed.
Pretty sure you mean unemployed.
Not necessarily unemployed, but likely underemployed in a non-professional field. Not much personal wealth, but comes from a suburban middle class or upper middle class family.
questionable
Facepunch is still considerably more leftist than not, in my opinion, though we've definitely pulled to the right in the last several years.

left-leaning by American standards maybe which is significantly less left comparatively
Mr. Robot season 2 should have been in the TV show list.
