They're not allowed to move.
Stonehenge is like a 20 minute drive for me :smugdog:
The political cartoon gallery is pretty funny.
You do know that swine flu infection rate is really high there at the moment.
you know that swine flu isn't actually bad.
Do NOT visit the London Eye, it's about half an hour waiting in line for a ticker, and then plain waiting 45 minutes or so before you can stand in the actual line to stand in the actual line for the Eye, - which means another hour waiting.

True, I've just recovered from it.
Let off a bomb
Okay So i am going going to london this weekend is there anything you could like recommend?
And no stuff like The London tower and Bigben and like that please...
Thing that i plan to check out:
Madame Toussoe's vax museum (how to spell that?, )
Stonehenge, if i can make it there
So any suggestions?
Madame Tussauds? Yes that's a popular one.
Stonehenge is way out of London so forget about it. Anyway here's just a few I mention seeing as I live right near London. Not that you would have time to do all these.
*The London Dungeons is popular. It's right near London Bridge Tube station.
*Right next to the London Dungeons is the London Bridge Experience which is fun. At the end they have some big scare attraction in the old underground tombs which is pretty fun :D
*The London Aquarium is nice, I like it as there's these manta rays that attention-whore at you and you can stroke them. Also it's just pretty fun to look at.
*London Eye of course, right opposite the Aquarium.
*Several museums & galleries you'll see advertised.
*Camden Market.
*The London Trocadero. Kind of a big arcade. Also has a cinema and other stuff. It's pretty well known.
There's loads to do here. And don't worry about Swine Flu like someone here said, I don't know anyone who has it. And even if you did get it, it's not really any worse than normal flu.

I've been on it twice and it has never been that long.

They're not allowed to move.
A common misconception by tourists and British citizens alike! They ARE, in fact, allowed to move.
They are allowed to pace up and down any time they please or whenever the senior soldier pleases to do so, when there are two of them.
If they feel that they're being hoarded by tourists, they are allowed to stand at attention to warn them.
If they feel that their post or the security of the sovereign palaces are threatened, they are definitely able to move.
Bottom line is, during their one to two hour duty, they are allowed to move so long as it's all in the drill book.
You do know that swine flu infection rate is really high there at the moment.
Yeah. I was in Ealing yesterday, which is like the infection hotspot.
I saw one person wearing a swine flu mask, who was a rather lost tourist. He took the mask off to ask me a question.
Statistically speaking, you're unlikely to be infected, and statistically speaking you're unlikely to need hospital treatment if you do get it, and statistically speaking you're unlikely to die.
Hence it's not a real danger. Nobody in London really cares.
For more information on London based indifference, see the 7/7 bomb attacks. One week later and everyone was back on public transport and Vanessa Feltz appeared on LBC calling 2005 the "summer of love"
Well I have you a question, do you like to play on arcade and go to mussems because if you are intrested you can go to the old segaworld and the mussem of seceince.
p.s Sorry about my spelling, I haven't had time to put it through a word checker and I have to get going to my aunt's kk.
Later

Ah, the highlight of my day there.
At least you can get a good, cheap night out in Birmingham though.
go to southbank, loads of cool stuff there
camden is good as well, you can loads of cool stuff cheap there and the people there are really cool as well
Visit a traditional pub for a pint of real ale, go on the eye if it's not too busy, go to the aquarium, Natural History Museum (best of the museums), London Dungeons, and all the regular tourist traps
Durr hurr all english people have bad teeth and are unclean and drink tea.
No.
Being a Londoner myself, one place I like to go is Denmark Street, it's a relatively small street which is filled with only music shops, mainly guitar shops. If you're not a guitar enthusiast as I am, just enjoy a nice walk down the Thames, go on the eye for nice view of things. Just do tourist stiff.
Camden is fun, if you're 13 years old. There are a lot better markets around. Go to Camden if you want to buy marijuana themed apparel and "Weed lollipops" and then you can be cool. [/sarcasm]

And ignore all the awesome food stalls, record/book stalls and the more unsual fashion outlets, etc?

Well I do learning playing on guitar so maybe cheking that out, also the dungeon :D Thanx guys for posting :D
(forgive my grammar its 2 am here and I'm tired...)
Definitely the London Eye, your mind will be blown from the view.
Go to garry's house.
You could be like my friends and me where we spent probably half an hour jogging back and forth over the crosswalk on abbey road between car passings trying to get a good photo.
