What exactly is this Oxygen Destroyer? Every time i hear about it i think of a massive creature that somehow sucks all the air away.
Spoilers for 1954 Film [sp]The 'Oxygen Destroyer' is a bomb that melts down organic life that relies on oxygen molecules, designed by Dr. Serizawa. He makes one, destroys the plans for it, and carries the bomb himself to kill the original Godzilla (including himself). It's basically the world's most powerful weapon, and Serizawa made sure to destroy the information before it could be used against man.[/sp]
I am too hyped for this
I am too hyped for this
mother of god...zilla... [editline]26th February 2014[/editline] 1998 'godzilla' = 10 meters :v:
Bryan Cranston's voiceover at the beginning is excellent
No idea why, but while I was listening to cranston's VO I kept thinking of the soundtrack to JC's The Thing
I did a thing. Mute the first video. http://youtubedoubler.com/bOtU
Second's not available in my country :(
That's unfortunate. I wonder if its blocked everywhere outside the U.S. Hmm.
I talked to a guy who thought this was a remake of the 1998 movie, Seriously.
I talked to a guy who thought this was a remake of the 1998 movie, Seriously.
don't talk to that guy again.
I talked to a guy who thought this was a remake of the 1998 movie, Seriously.
But it already has a sequel/continuation
Yeah that freeze frame gets worse the longer you look at it. [editline]27th February 2014[/editline] ohshit there were more pages nooooooooooooooo
I'm wondering it that's the Statue of Liberty in Vegas, there aren't enough buildings in the background, and I don't remember seeing mountains when I was in NYC. Nevermind, it totally is, you can see part of the rollercoaster in the picture.
The Luxor Hotel is what caught my attention.
The fact the Statue of Liberty is not in the middle of a desert beside a rollercoaster was my tip.
And the trailer establishes that Godzilla is from the pacific ocean.
And the trailer establishes that Godzilla is from the pacific ocean.
I'm curious how they'll explain him not showing up for almost 50 years. The movie is in 2014 right? As in, doesn't play in the past but rather the present day? Also, nice Avatar, is that Negan?
They've done it in multiple films before. Sometimes they say "it's another one" or Dr. Serizawa was not successful with [sp]the oxygen destroyer[/sp]
excuse me if this was already brought up, but I hate how the trend nowadays is to make the BRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNN sound in trailers oh my god, it's getting so old now
excuse me if this was already brought up, but I hate how the trend nowadays is to make the BRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNN sound in trailers oh my god, it's getting so old now
this is the first time i've heard it in awhile tho they only used it a couple times in the trailer
excuse me if this was already brought up, but I hate how the trend nowadays is to make the BRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNN sound in trailers oh my god, it's getting so old now
I liked how in the first trailer there was alot of silence and then that creepy music kept building up the roar
The chorus is very fitting because I almost always associate this kind of music with something of epic proportions or an evil of biblical proportions which Godzilla certainly is.

In fact, from what I recall, its almost considered just a natural phenomenon within the lore.
Godzilla was mutated due to Nuclear testing on an island. He is the wrath of nature to teach mankind a lesson.

From the looks of that Gif, toilets also confirmed.
Unless I'm wrong here but wasn't Godzilla the defender of Japan? If so what is he doing being giant, psychotic and destroy America. And plus wouldn't you sort of notice something over a hundred meters tall, even BEFORE emerging. Especially since the deepest part of the Earth is too narrow.
[t]http://i.minus.com/idc9k2UW230gC.gif[/t] flying creature confirmed
It has been lots of times. Its a creature named MUTO.
Also known as Gyorgy Ligeti - Requiem
creeepy

Especially since the deepest part of the Earth is too narrow.
Most of the time, he's not really a defender. That's more of Gamera's thing. Although some of the later original series Godzilla movies had Godzilla portrayed as a good guy (I'm looking at you, any movie with Son of Godzilla in it).
[t]http://i.minus.com/idc9k2UW230gC.gif[/t] flying creature confirmed
I wonder how the flying muto is taking out those jets. They don't seem to be damaged from physical hits or on fire. It looks as if they were shutdown in flight.
