Ben Folds - Rockin' The Suburbs

Also this was pretty cool too.

[img]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/0b/Montrose_-_-s-t-.jpg[/img]
Montrose are shamefully underrated, You barely hear about them. This Debut album had an amazing production value, and for hard rock with theremin use, you can't go wrong.

Dark, haunting and overall just brilliant. Crucial.
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/d6/Klaxons-MythsOfTheNearFuture.jpg[/img_thumb]
Mad, mad debut. Basically madness runs throughout. Incredibly catchy and fun.
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/d9/Selected_ambient_works_85-92.jpg[/img_thumb]
Awesome debut by an awesome artist. Sounds nothing like anything before it.

A great album to dance to, sing along to and generally just party to. Fine pop.

OI, Hard Fi are a good band, and that is a good album :frog:
Gonna have to disagree, sorry.
Its not personal :<: how do you do a heart
Thank you, Akayz. Both artists are great in my opinion, so let's leave it there.
More debuts:
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/8f/Franz-Ferdinand.PNG[/img_Thumb]
Arty dance-punk masterpiece from the Scottish outfit. Superb way to start a career in the music business.
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c8/TheFratellis-CostelloMusic.jpg[/img_thumb]
Sing-along and tap-your-foot-furiously catchy. Another fine debut by another fine Scottish band.
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/65/Asleepintheback.jpg[/img_thumb]
Kinda dreamy and relaxing. Although most people know Elbow for their album The Seldom Seen Kid, this is where their brilliance started.
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/97/Since_i_left_you.jpg[/img_thumb]
Okay, so it's their only album so far, but what an album it is. Genius.

Weird arty debut. Quite unlike anything I've heard before.
I have that Elbow album, it is pretty good.
Fire, by Electric Six.

Astrohenge's self titled. They're a London based band, sound like Bigelf and Mastodon made instrumental. Pretty damn awesome :buddy:

Totally forgot about Myths Of The Near Future. Used to be fucking addicted to that album about 4 years ago. "Atlantis To Interzone" was the most played song in iTunes on my last computer.

Even though I prefer Neon Bible as an album I have to agree that's a great debut.

General howler of an album, catchy songs with great lyrics.
