Star Wars Megathread Ep 1: The Though Out Menace (AKA The Phantom OP) - General

Really think Jabba would be fucking awful. I never liked him. He's supposed to be repulsive and brief. A Fett movie would be the shit though. Specially if it followed the EU and showed his survival. Why the shit are we going back to doing prequels anyway? Atleast the Anakin one was part of the whole story.

The whole standalone film idea seems strange to me. I know that's how they did the Clone Wars movie, which was attached to a TV show anyway, and I don't know how that turned out for them.

Simple. They get to use Darth Vader in all the marketing material again as he'll still be alive during these films. I really look foward to seeing Han meet Chewie and making the Kessle Run and all that. It bodes well, Disney clearly is interested in using these characters again when they could've just set it decades after Episode 6 and never worry about them again. So maybe we will see Luke, Leia and Han again thing. Actually we [B]will[/B] see Han again, just maybe not Harrison.

I heard years ago that they were going to make a Boba Fett film or TV series and I was really looking forward to it, but then it never happened. So this is great news in my eyes. Han Solo's pree' cool too.

It was specifically about Boba. It was a TV series about the crime belly of the galaxy in general with Boba as a character. Lucas was going on about it all the time since Episode 3 came out. They finished writing it and had some casting choices but no word on it since the Disney buy out.

Maybe some of his script will be used.

Well, season 5 might be the final season. The originally intended to have only 5 AFAIK.

The first two season look terrible and everyone is stiff and moves awkwardly, but once you hit season 3 everything gets a upgrade. There is a viewing guide that pops up in /co/ threads so it'd be best to find that.
