Don't you mean Ian McDiarmid?
No, but that's an easy mistake to make. Ian McDiarmid acted Palpatine in the films. Ian Ambercrombie voiced Palpatine in the Clone Wars series until recently as he died before Season 5 finished. His last and quite frankly amazing performance was the episode where Darth Sidious fought Maul and Savage. Since then Tim Curry has been brought on to replace him.
Sam Witwer does a good Sidious voice.
edit 2: found seasons one and two in complete uploads, instead of 11 parts, it's now just 2, your choice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prNvoEb-WRc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMY9BHU8y3U
Those ones are french lol
Those ones are french lol
ah, mea culpa, i didn't even stick around long enough for the audio. only put em up in case the other guy didnt want to have to go through 11 videos, even though they are in a playlist. also, the quality isn't as good as that playlist version, or the links that would continually be reposted in the "full movies on youtube" thread.

I always remembered Ambercrombie as Mr. Pitt from Seinfeld.
Should I get Galactic Battlegrounds or Empire At War?
Republic Commando. [editline]5th March 2013[/editline] Although, Empire has my vote.
Empire
empire at war has a lot of fun mods for it.
Here I have a picture that almost got me banned from the The Force.Net forums because people were utterly scared of it. On the topic of games get Empire at War Gold and Jedi Academy so you can play Movie Battles 2.
Alright. I decided to buy EAW Gold, and I already have JK3. I decided to go into skirmish mode on the Tatooine map after playing through the tutorial to get a feel for the game then all of a sudden a couple tornadoes swooped in and killed all my guys then a Rancor came out of nowhere and nearly demolished my base. Just bad luck, I guess.

Also in space as the Empire you get to have Admiral Fucking Thrawn whose main ability is a broadside blast basically and just fucks everything it hits up so bad.
Does EAW still have a working online? [editline]5th March 2013[/editline] Who should play Han Solo in the rumoured Han based origin film? Digital Spy reckons Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be great. I can see it. He'd do it good. Let's just get Levitt to play a young version of every Hollywood bad ass [editline]5th March 2013[/editline] Joseph Gordon-Levitt is one of the actors I would want to see in Star Wars. Along with John Noble and Ben from Lost.
I could see that.
Something employees of 20 years get at Lucasfilms [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/reUtAjo.jpg[/thumb]
http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=101150 Carrie Fisher is now saying she is indeed back for the star wars sequels (before she was just saying she wants to be)
Another source saying that is back playing Princess Leia http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/03/06/what-princess-leia-might-be-like-in-star-wars-episode-vii

Yeah Carrie Fisher actually was quite hot and I look foward to Oh yeah. Really you could get away with recasting her anyway. She looks more like Paul McCartney now [editline]6th March 2013[/editline] To be fair the question to her was "‘Disney is going to continue the Star Wars saga, producing movies set to hit theaters starting in 2015. Can you confirm whether you’ll reprise the role of Princess Leia?" and her reply was "Yes" She's just saying she can confirm whether she'll reprise the role. She doesn't say "I am reprising it". It could be "Yes I can confirm I'll not be reprising the role". That's her sense of humour.
Well, no chain bikinis for her anymore....right? :v: I get the feeling this is gonna be set waaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead in time due to all the actors' age. Unless they CGI them to hell to make them young but that would probably make them look...unnerving.
waaaaay ahead? Just 30ish years after the last one I imagine.
George Lucas on the original cast members, We had already signed Mark and Carrie and Harrison—or we were pretty much in final stages of negotiation. So I called them to say, ‘Look, this is what’s going on.’ Maybe I’m not supposed to say that. I think they want to announce that with some big whoop-de-do, but we were negotiating with them. And a very long article on how Disney acquired Lucasfilms
So fucking excited to see what happened to Han, Luke and Leia after the Empire.
Yeah I'm so happy I get to eat my words about Episode 7 after all these years of telling people to "stop hoping, it is not happening, Lucas said no" and all that. I happily eat those words with hot sauce. That announcement was like fucking Christmas for me and my family  Side comment about family: since my Mom heard about Carrie being back she's been all like "Oooh will Leia be a Jedi now? I want to see her as a Jedi!" etc etc. I love my family :v:

Apparently Disney is still basing the films on Lucas' ideas. Just getting others to script and direct. Which is fine by me because Lucas always had great ideas, just awful production. It's why the films he didn't get so involved in are better. I imagine after the 3 films coming up, Disney will do a few spin-off films and throw the next trilogy into production and then work on spin off films and shit till the end of time.
The Clone Wars just got cancelled - http://starwars.com/news/a-new-direction-for-lucasfilm-animation.html At least Star Wars Detours also got cancelled.
Glad Detours has essentially been canned though
Wait Clone Wars was cancelled? God damn. Also I liked Detours. [editline]11th March 2013[/editline] Woah watch the video in Thoms link [editline]11th March 2013[/editline] The fact they have full quality episode footage of an episode they havent released must mean something
I wonder if that clone was defective and triggered Order 66 by himself.
