that is what it felt like. Remember they were engineered to be loyal. And it helps explain why in Episode 3 the clones were so willing to kill their Jedi leaders, their friends.
In the EU there were some clones who questioned why, and some who outright refused to obey. They could have been defective as well.

I just re-read the article
We are exploring a whole new Star Wars series set in a time period previously untouched in Star Wars films or television programming.
I hope I don't have to wait too long for the last season!
RIP TCW you join the ranks of the recently fallen shows before you.

Detours wasn't cancelled, it was postponed
Just like the 3D films, postponed, first sources say their cancelled before the official report says on indefinite hold

I guarantee you will never hear about that show again. If they don't think it's appropriate to broadcast before the new trilogy then it won't be appropriate during and it won't be appropriate after.
I think all future Star Wars stuff is going to be after Episode 6 and before Episode 1 (origin films). A land untouched by film and TV. About time too.
Detours and the 3D films was literally flogging a dead horse. Like everybody at Lucas Arts went "Well. How ELSE can we make money off this without getting George in to make us some new stuff?"
