They can fuck with the prequels however many times they like.... but they have "touched up" the originals WAY TOO MUCH for their own good.

That is the one thing Lucas should have left alone since 1977 (although they had just re-used the bantha recording, I was still fine with it). All in all, I'm still totally getting it when it comes out.
In all seriousness, I want to see the first 3 as original theatrical releases. That is what thrilled people back in those days. I also sense a lot of CG has "cleared" spaces in the originals. I just watched Return of the Jedi and I don't see unmasked Darth Vader in it matching the character in the prequel trilogy. Way off... oh well.
The OT puppet was really fugly, looked nothing like Episode 5+6 yoda. The CG one was better it actually looked like Yoda.
OT means original trilogy what the fuck are you talking about
Patton Oswalt has a standup bit that some of you may appreciate
At least he kept the good puppet yoda imo OT puppet yoda > CGI yoda Yeah for the most part he left 5 the fuck alone except for annoying little CG fucking things. Not as bad as 4 and 6 seem to have been butchered
Puppet Yoda looks better in everything apart from Episode 1. Puppet Yoda in EP 1 was awful. CGI Yoda, the lightsabers and Ewok blinking are all good improvements by me. Plus the pictures look fucking great.
I just watched Return of the Jedi and I don't see unmasked Darth Vader in it matching the character in the prequel trilogy. Way off... oh well.
What do you mean by that? By physical appearance, or character development?
:(
Why?? With the original cut, there was such a sense of internal conflict within Vader. You couldn't see any emotion in his face & you had no voice to tip you off & yet you could feel the struggle swelling inside him---he didn't know who to chose. By adding the voice that sense of conflict & anticipation is slashed to pieces.

Katie Lucas: "haters gonna hate. And then haters are going to buy the bluray set and keep complaining" Katie is George Lucas's daughter. She posted that on her twitter.
Well she's right. And then they're all going to buy the 3D blurays, and whatever is after bluray with even more fucking retarded edits I have the theatrical release DVDs so Lucas can fuck off unless he transfers those to bluray
OT means original trilogy what the fuck are you talking about
I... I fucked up. It was late :P
What do you mean by that? By physical appearance, or character development?
The way Vader looks at his son in the original and the way he spoke to him. Hayden wasn't as sinister and humble as that old man.
Some fans make the argument that it's Vader "turning back into Anakin", and I'll buy that as it makes sense, but... Couldn't he have done a second take? That "no!" was horrible.
"It's like poetry, they sort of rhyme." (Or however the hell that quote goes.) Still cheeses-up a once tense moment.
The way Vader looks at his son in the original and the way he spoke to him. Shit, he didn't even know he had kids until the Emperor told him. Also, the twenty years between ROTS and ROTJ obviously gave him some time to think.

Picture quality is so clear... I actually caught a glimpse of Vaders eyes behind his mask.
that has been possible since the first DVD release, in several scenes.
Katie Lucas: "haters gonna hate. And then haters are going to buy the bluray set and keep complaining" Katie is George Lucas's daughter. She posted that on her twitter.
She is right though. Such is the nature of Star Wars fans.
katie lucas can eat a shit cake. What she doesn't understand is that original is best.
Sucks to be her right now. Just by looking at her Twitter, I can tell she's getting a lot of hate messages
I thought he assumed the children died with her?
This.
Sucks to be her right now. Just by looking at her Twitter, I can tell she's getting a lot of hate messages
Anyone who actually uses Twatter is a twat.
It's funny how a fan edit is turning out to be much better than the actual theatrical release.
The Tie Fighter sounds with the Jedi Interceptors felt out of place. The Droids being quiet in the elevator felt weird, they would have said something, I don't care if the author had to steal lines from Episode 1 or 2. The removal of Grievous' coughing made the motions awkward and out of place, besides his coughing was originally suppose to signify imperfections of Bio Tech Engineering was. The 2D Clone Wars Retconned it into being Mace Windo's fault. The Pacing feels off all together. I honestly prefer the Original EP3 then this.
i'd rther hang myself than watch episode 3 again
the colored text is retarded, the new title is bleh, the jumps are awful, nobody should make star wars fan edits. also, you never mix OT and PT. first rule of star wars fan edits is don't make them.
