The Rasterbation thread - I do it with Mom! Edition

I remember doing this a long time ago, in my old computer room. I started relatively small, with a 2x3 mudkip, and it just got stupider from there. I'll spare you the photos, but there's still a 5x7 sheet, full colour poster covering one of the walls. If I ever replace it, I'll post pictures :v:
Yes, I'm getting better at it. While this is only a 2x2 sheet, I think it's very pretty. Inspired by Superwafflez BMW.

If you're wondering why I'm doing smaller ones first, this is why:

These are being made at my workplace, which happens to be a fucking cyber-caffe, hnng
I'm planning something big on the next weekend.
Just a tip, but I found out that printing them on a laser printer kind of folds the paper onto a U shape, making the assembly a lot harder.

Looks better in the picture imo
This by the way

I'll try to get a better picture later.
Does this count?

You should consider lowering the size of 'em dots.
It really helped me to achieve what I wanted.
Also, before rasterbating it, do what Daijitsu said and increase the contrast in photoshop.
Edit:
I lied, coco911231 said that.
I did one of these before, I decided to do one again.
My camera is pretty crappy

I thought you were supposed to look at it from a distance :suicide:
I would make something like this but my parents would yell at me for wasting ink.
I should tell my sister about this.
This rasterbation stuff is fucking amazing!
Someone should Rasterbate this:

yep...
I tried my hand at rasterbation (teehee) and this is what I came up with. I decided not to use a shit ton of color ink so the picture is a little bit more boring than the color counterpart, but I think it still turned out pretty good!

here's a closeup, sorry for the shit pictures. shitty phone camera.

It's one of my original works, if you were wondering.
if you want to see it, it's below

Avatar fits so perfectly to that post.
I'm digging through all my crap to find something worth putting up. I can print any of my photos at 72 dpi and reach 69"x45" and it'll still look damn sexy as a whole, albeit my printer will hate me. Might just settle for a black'n'white shot and make it all dotty, it'd look good as an installation in the office.
Since it's my photo studio, I want to keep it serious... so I guess this latest bit is out of the question- http://ploader.net/files/b7d0f6e9325bd5be9f15785012460859.jpg
if someone wants to suggest something, I've got a ton of junk in the photo section to dig through, or you can request a fullsize for your own use. :buddy: [shameless advertising of my thread]

I have one, but it looks like that the white edges on sheets of paper are actually overlaying the image, as in if I cut them out then the line between sheets of paper would be a little offset, nothing much, but I'm not sure which way it would look better.
I guess the next image I'll do, I'll cut the edges off :)
I started to do it, but my printer ran out of ink and I have no extras D:
I wish my printer wasn't in a perpetual state of "NO FUCK YOU I DON'T HAVE INK" so I could do one of these.
Also, is it just me that finds the white lines from the margins of each piece of paper oddly charming? It gives it a sort of style as opposed to just being a large image spanning multiple sheets of paper.
I'm so doing one of these. So you basically print multiple pages after rasterbating and put them together?
I might do this later.

I hate how my printer leaves white edges around the pages.

Every printer does that.
It's a safety mechanism so that the printer wouldn't print on itself accidentally.
and [GriM],
yep. :v:

Yeah but I noticed it leaves out some dots so I can't even cut the edges. Or does the program do that?
