Use this map to pinpoint your location along with a little description of where you think the camp should take place. Don't forget to add your username. it's your location, not where you think it should be. http://g.co/maps/2fhf4
Interesting, someone seems to have already placed a marker with my username.
I took the liberty to add some of you to the map (didn't add anyone past the second page) and here's how's looking I think two meetings are plausible: in BC and the south-east of the US. We'll have to see how it evolves. To edit the map you have to be loged in with a google account, then click edit. Read the description on the map for instructions.
I say British Columbia, its fucking gorgeous and I live there so we can all party with me

Some farmer can lend us his field for a day or two.

I live just above NYC, New York camping grounds would be awesome. I'd drive bordering states though

I think most people In Washington and Oregon Can get to B.C (if we do a West FP meetup) for around $80, California, Montana and Idaho can get Here for around $100, Using Amtrak. Depends on what you want to spend and how you want to travel. I took the liberty of dividing North America into 6 sections and numbering how many FPers here are in each state. It's meant to be a sort of planning guide. i.e. if you're doing something for the South-Eastern FPers stay in the red states.
I live in Calgary, Alberta. But BC seems ideal.
Bc is purrty
South Manitoba, Muhfukka!!! Different regional camping spots would be good, but I dunno about a HUEG NORD AMURRIKA camping thing. I'd be cool driving down to Minnesota, MAYBE Indiana/Ohio if my Road Trip that i'm taking this summer meets up with your dates (that is, IF the thing is possible) I'd prefer a Canadian one though. :P Also, fuck BC. We got awesome flat campgrounds here in Manitoba!!! Nice lake, too :P
woop winnipeg represent
Anywhere in BC is fantastic. I would recommend Shawnigan but the Ferry can be quite pricy (Up to $80 with a vehicle) so I understand that the mainland is probaly more ideal. Anyone in Alberta/Washington can easily drive to Southern BC, with Vancouver only being 4 hours from Seattle. It'd be within 12-15 hours for mid-alberta (Edmonton/Calgary) and probaly Mid-South Washington or even Northern Oregon. $260 round-trip from San Fran. If you don't want to make the drive, Amtrak ain't that bad. $80 from Seattle.
All of us Florida FPers should go to Disney World. THAT would end well. But seriously that would actually be pretty kick ass.
was that a sarcastic remark? Are you really that paranoid?
no lol. I've really never seen that feature before and thought it was neat.

It depends if we have it this summer or next summer, which I plan next summer.

Nevermind, that's single-way. What a misleading site. Any further than that, I.E: Salt Lake City, etc, gets up to around $250+ so not really worth it. But I mean, wow. $80 for round-trip from Seattle to Van? That's... cheaper than the gas would be. And you can just play games on the train.
uh... I'd love to know what car you're driving that eats up $80 for two 2.5 hour trips. My car gets relatively low mileage and I could make the tip with less than $40 spent in gas.
Illinois
The USA is 37.92 time larger then the UK, making travel considerably harder for the majority of people who live there. Would be a mean feat to pull it off, but i cant see many people paying for an "interstate" flight to go camping
I live in Michigan, so if it happens to be within a days drive I would consider coming.
Virginia. If we camp too far out in the middle of nowhere, then we'll get eaten by lions, bears, tigers, each other, etc. I say we just meet up at a wall street protest or somewhere near civilization so we can walk up to a gas station and buy food if we need it.
I would possibly attend one if it were in Georgia. It doesn't look like there're many FP'ers in the Southeast though. :/
Would there be an age limit? I don't really want to be camping with a bunch of 12 year olds. 17 sounds good to me.

The United States is 312.25% larger than the British Isles. British Isles - Roughly 121,600 square miles United Staets - Roughly 3,800,000 square miles 38% would make the United States 167, 800ish square miles. Washington. [editline]6th January 2012[/editline] I would be willing to go to Canada or Oregon for a meet up.
