This has been addressed multiple times. There was nothing to debunk this leak. The only reason we know it's fake is because the guy came out and told us.

Yeah the issue was that you can't have an 8-player smash on SSB4 for 3DS, and in the theoretical case where all four players choose ice climbers that's effectively what it would become. I guess they can't allocate enough resources for that.
