That's all debates are. The point of a debate is to you make think of what is said so you can then later come to your conclusion of what you believe to be correct.

Shut the fuck up and just debate. We get it. There is a book that is thousands of years old, has been written and re-written countless times and has been translated as many times as needed. Now explain to us how that book is a viable explanation for the origins of man and stop trying to advertise it.

It is. Firstly, there were books that were rejected from being in the Bible so there's that right out of the gate. Secondly, its been rewritten by different people numerous times throughout history. Thirdly, shit gets lost in translation all the time, so I guarantee there's stuff missing or changed from that. And lastly, it's also varied depending on the denomination, so they can't even follow the basic book.

He really isn't though. He's alright but by no means brilliant. He read all of his slides word for word, he fumbled and stuttered non-stop and he kept rehashing previous points and couldn't properly answer any questions. Like i said, he's not bad, but he's not brilliant.

It's pretty much a publicity stunt. Ken Ham never intended to have a debate, he intended to put on a show and get publicity for it.

Non-Cockney British accents or accents similar to British accents (such as Australian accents) cause the illusion of refinement and intelligence for us Americans, especially coming from older people, just due to stereotypes in our media. Not sure whether it is that way in other countries.

He made a fool of himself and lost the debate he started horribly, barely able to make any point of his own. It'll be negative publicity.
