Alright here's an overview of the plot/backstory for my fanfiction I'm working on, contains spoilers for the fanfic/and or if you haven't watched all of season one:
[sp]A famine begins in Appleloosa after an unusually long, cold drought. A weak population of survivor trees feed the town, but it's barely enough to survive. When the Buffalo come to collect the apple pies, Appleloosa cannot provide them and the Buffalo destroy Appleloosa- successfully, this time. The buffalo turn the southwest region of Equestria and parts of the Everfree Forest into a totalitarian dictatorship, it's capital being Bison- A fortress state in the ruins of Luna's castle. The buffalo enslave various types of magical beasts, then invade surrounding areas, starting with Manehatten, then Fillydalphia, then Ponyville, then there is' Equestria's last stand at Canterlot, with Cloudsdale transforming into something reminiscent of a massive airforce base and less of a city.[/sp]
