Nah, is this a hang out spot or something for a specific group, other than any random person coming in to see this thread? I have the odd feeling it is, but I'm not jumping to conclusions.
Its not on steam, (but you can integrate it if you want, as you can for any application) and its free.
Its a MMO with tanks where you battle in matches of about 30 tanks, 15 players per team. You earn XP and credits based on your performance each battle, and these are used to buy or research new weapons, tracks, radios, engines, and turrets for your tanks, and to buy new ones.
Im not going to lie to you, its one of those MMO's that makes you put in a lot of time if you want to rise up to the better tanks. Grind intensive.
Game is free but you can use money to buy gold, which is used to buy premium, which gives you a 50% boost to XP and credits. It makes the game easier. A good deal easier. And it allows you to form platoons, which are groups of 3 people that get put in otherwise pseudo-randomly generated matches (you will get put with tanks that are within id say 3-4 teirs of your tank). You can still join a platoon without premium, but you wont be able to host one.
If your not into grinding, well you can still stick to light tanks, and you can still have a good time but if you want to be the powerhouse of the battlefield, you need to work hard to earn it. Or just play for a really long time and get it eventually.

Uh, depends but I would reccomend the german TD tree or the russian heavy tree. (best tanks the soonest, these being the StuG and the KV)

Meh currently I'm into League of Legends right now, I might try it out when the next school year starts. And it sounds more like a MoBA(Multiplayer Online Battle Arena)/AoS(Aeon of Strife) game if it's composed of matches.

Yeah it's a hangout spot for a specific group which is us the pony fans. Random people can come and go, we post ponies, we discuss ponies, and sometimes (very often) we talk about random crap.

People are welcome to platoon with me if you want to play WoT, but I prefer to play with people who have at least teir 3 tanks because I have one teir 3 tank, like three teir 5 tanks, and a teir 6 tank. Dont wanna get put in with tanks 5 teirs above you now
I can supply people with [B]PONY SKINS[/B] if you want too cause' I R SKILLED AT TEH PHOTOSHOPZ (I know what im doing. Most of the time, and I know how to get good worn looks)

I actually didn't like Pinkie Pie when I started watching the series. I found her obscenely energetic and random attitude really off putting. I love her now though, and watching her lose her mind in the most recent one really cemented that. It's just something I was reminded of after watching the first couple episodes today with my little sister.
