The context of model in that is animation model. As in, the characters in the show all have templates which are used to animate off of. So this is implying that they have an improved look or better animation (I know that the animation looked fucked up in a few parts of the show, and like they just copy-pasted faces onto them (which is true to a technical standard but shouldn't look like that)
