Thats a pretty colonialist attitude you are expressing, but consider: If it wasn't for Western colonialism it might not have been destroyed in the first place, and the rest of the region probably wouldn't have experienced nearly so much war.
By the way, the U.S. gives Israel aid because it gives them diplomatic leverage when they say things like "Dear Bibi we think you should maybe not invade Iran atm" or "Dear Bibi can you pls invade England for us ty" Not because Israel controls the West or some shit.
