מה זה ״בית־הספר״?
Library?

Oh urethra I double posted. Thanks!
Book house
Haha I know it said book house
You know I never thought of how weird that sounds
"Book House" is school
A cooler phrasing is actually
בית הספר
Which means "house of the book"
Sounds like a shrine or something
when I was in Jerusalem last year I stayed at the Jerusalem gate hotel (5 stars). It was the worst hotel I've ever been.
We arrived there after a long journey from Jordan plus the hours waiting to pass the border and were in dire need of shower and a good night's sleep.
They sent us to the lower rooms. The beds had footprints on the sheets and some of my friends woke up with bedbugs on the pillow case.
In my room, I had footprints all over my sheets and the toilet seat was pissed by the previous user.
I was shocked. Cause the place was crowded, nobody from the hotel staff really seemed to care and when they finally sent someone to clean the rooms, the new bed sheets were as dirty as the previous ones.
Apart from that, I really loved the old city of Jerusalem. Really beautiful place. The markets are just lovely and the streets feel very safe. I hope to go back some day with more time and staying in a different hotel.
Last time I went with a church group (was cheaper that way) in pilgrimage and it only took a week.
The trip was Tel Aviv, Jordan, Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Really great.
Anyway, I was kinda wondering since the next time I visit I want it to be from a local's point of view.
What are, in Israel the best places to visit, hang out, and stay at night?
Did you know that Tel Aviv is the gayest city on earth

Isn't that how I wrote it? Or does the dash make the difference?

Yes

No, that's exactly how your write it. It's just that most Israelis say בית ספר rather than בית הספר.

Shitty luck, I guess.
Last time I was staying in Jerusalem, I stayed in Mt. Zion hotel, and it was probably the best hotel I have ever visited in my entire life, In Israel and abroad.
Seriously consider going there if you visit Jerusalem a second time.

To visit? If you're talking about places you haven't been to yet, than- Sea of Galilee, The Dead Sea (not recommended in the middle of summer, though), and Eilat is pretty cool if you've never been there before.
Call me if you go through Beersheba next time.

Just know that by going to night clubs in Israel you're increasing your chances of getting stabbed by at least 80%

During the trip, the most amazing Hotel I've been was in Ramada in Jordan with an astonishing view of the desert. I've been at the spot of the sea of Galilee. Extremely beautiful place! And yeah, I visited the dead sea during the summer. It was the hottest place I've ever been so far.
Since it was a kind of a religious pilgrimage, we kinda had to stick up to the "Holy Lands" theme with some quick bonuses on the side, like visiting Petra in Jordan. But it was all on the run. Like, 2 hours in a temple, then run to the other and so on, so we could get in the bus and drive to the hotel. Then evening prayer and bed just to wake up the next day at 5:30 AM and run around landmarks, temples and monuments.
I really couldn't manage to go there other than with the pilgrimage because I didn't have the money to go have a proper stay through a travel agency, so I had to put up with a lot of prayer and bible reading in the intervals :v:
It was not so bad though, I was expecting that moldy and old school behaviour from them but the priest were really nice, and I kinda new them since they do a lot of volunteering around here.

I meant to stay as in a Hotel.
But I noticed that when I was walking through the old city at night. A group of 4 shady guys started calling me towards them, asking for the time, if I had anything I could spare, you know the usual pre-robery talk. SInce I'm used to it here, I kept on walking and they didn't bother to follow me further.
The guide kinda told us in Tel Aviv that Tel Aviv was extremely safe so I thought Jerusalem was the same and I kinda adventured myself to go out alone at night for a walk.
And I really loved the beaches in Tel Aviv, I felt bad for not having the time to go there. There are great beaches in Portugal, but damn I never seen beaches with so much life.
