That's really hardcore.
We are good friends withe the BoE guys on my home forum, they put on really cool games. We do a similar set of Ultra Realistic games where I am, except we can only use lowcaps and whatnot.
How many lowcaps are you suposed to have on you?
I mean on a normal/typical game, because I'm a milsim bitch and don't like hi-caps
[editline]01:54PM[/editline]
Too bad there are no real caps for the AUG :sigh:

As many as you want.
A reasonable amount of lowcaps so you actually have enough ammo on you
Does anyone know the approximate measurements of the packaging for a "standard" AEG M4/M16 or similar? I'm asking because I'm trying to calculate the cost of shipping using UPS (from USA to Norway), and they want to know the weight and measurements..
Edit: I came across a couple of sites that works like virtual mailboxes. One site is http://www.shipito.com, apparently an excellent service if you want to buy from a store that doesn't ship worldwide. Their price is pretty fair too! Does anyone have ANY experience with a service of that kind? ShipItTo is just one of several such services.
WAIT.
So you have the place ship it to them, then they ship it to you?
Nice idea, but it seems to have one flaw. It costs more for you then to find the gun on a different site that has a shipping to your location. And some sites fyi have a calculate shipping thing for you, well asgi does.

Well, the website I looked at had a fee of $8.50 + the regular shipping cost.
I did try the calculator at the USPS site, but the data was more of a guesstimate, since I don't have the actual volume and weight. I couldn't register at Airsoft GI, because they haven't listed any countries other than US, Canada and Puerto Rico. That does tell me they don't ship worldwide, but their Shipping-info page is more vague, and mentions "international" in some context.. I have emailed them either way!
I do know there are other websites that DOES deliver, but I do NOT know how reliable any other site is. Airsoft GI gives me the oozy feeling of trust, just by hearsay and watching their videos. Also, their inventory and prices are of the best I've seen.
Right now I wish I had an uncle in America that I could put to good use :clint:
FUCK YEAH! Fuck making a SEAL loadout, I'm selling my spare guns and gear to get that.
How much?
around $230 wasn't it?

Hell, Ill get one for roleplay OPs where Im not "supposed" to have a weapon.
Only thing is that:
Initially, the gun will ship as a kit. You will need a KSC or KWA G18 as a donor gun and KWA/KSG G17 or G18 mags (standard length 23 rounders or the long 49 round mags)
Shiiit, and it's around $225 for the kit. I'd rather get a G&G for that price.
Only thing is that:
Which isn't a problem for me, already have my KWA G18C.
Crap, I need a barrel swap for my Masada. Fuck.
DBOYS SCAR-L, or G&G Affordable series M4-A1? I'd be getting the SCAR-L for $130 used from a buddy, but the G&G would be $140 new, without the battery (not a problem at all, I've got plenty back home). Having a hard time deciding between having a unique gun or being able to mod the living fuck out of a platform.
Scar-l.
It takes m4/16 mags because it is the L version.
And it looks kick ass, also it has the stock battery compartment that won't make you flip a bitch everytime you need to change batterys.
I'd go with the Scar. They're just fucking cool.
Go with the SCAR, the Combat Machine G&Gs have plastic buffer tubes that are just waiting to break off.
For external upgrades and new rail systems down the road, get the M4.
For a gun you won't plan on adding anything to, SCAR-L.
I have both a SCAR and M4, and honestly I prefer the M4. It's lighter and it does the same thing as the SCAR.
OK guys so I'm actually going to be buying a clone...
my question to you guys is, is the MP001 completely compatible with the Bar10? Reason being, there's this guy who makes Bar10s into Kar98s using Bar10 internals and would the MP001 work too?
Other question is, does the MP001 have any major defects and if so, are they fixable?
(God knows I'd rather get a TM VSR10 but I need to buy a wood bolt action rifle in like a week and I can't scrounge up an additional $150)
Honestly I'm not sure. If you haven't already checked ASR's sniper section then go there.
Mp001 has this crazy thing with a bunch of small springs i believe.
Mp001 is basically a VSR10 clone from what i was told and seen. But a bar10 can guarentee you better stablity.
The MP001 is a exact VSR clone for what I can tell from comparing the two internally. If there is a difference then it's damn well hidden.
I'm wondering, Why dosn't any one make a shot gun that fires like a shotgun does in real life?
Like make it shoot 15-20 BB's instead of 1-5.
The shells could be like the rifle grenades.

...didn't you ask this question a few months back?
And there is one, the ammunition for it is ludicrously expensive.
