Fucking hell, I was going to go to ASGI and the G&G M4 I had my eye on is out of stock. Anybody know when they usually get stuff restocked?
Do you guys know much about the manufacturer "Well"? I found a goodish looking sniper from them but don't know much about them.
Also it's a stupid name. You don't exactly get what you are looking for when you google "Well Airsoft"
What sniper rifle is it?
Also, I've got the MP7 that they cloned off of the TM. It's good, but the top rail has never been on straight because of a stray piece of metal that I've never been able to sand off on the underside.

I was thinking about it but a friend gave me a VERY good offer on a lightly used, very well taken care of rifle.
He is offering me a UTG L96 full metal(about $150) + A leaper's scope that lights up either red or green($50) for $125. Although I might just want a new one depending on how good the WELL rifle is.
I've got no idea how good that WELL rifle is. It's supposed to be a clone of the [url=http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_113&products_id=4215]Maruzen APS SR-2[/url] and it definitely looks the part, but then again, there's no review information for either of the guns, so I don't know what to tell you considering I've never gotten my grubby hands on either.
Though, if you're willing to save about $10 more, you can get a JG BAR-10 with a scope. I'd recommend that, as it's the FP standard for a sniper rifle considering the upgrade capabilities.
It's the UTG L96 with a different stock, this guy I know has it. I have no other sniper to compare it to so I have no clue how well it shoots, although it can hit a milk jug ~170 feet 7/10 times.
And from what I hear, WELL is a crappy brand.

About that JG. Reading some reviews it says that it often shoots 2 bb's at once. Does this affect FPS? When I used to use bio bb's in my assault rifle they sort of curved to the ground and landed 2 feet infront of me.

Me and a friend have/had JG BAR 10's and never had any double feeding.
The FPS is around 380-400fps. The G-Spec version use to shoot a little slower, but they may have changed that. We bought ours at least 2 years ago, things have changed. Anyways, it's nothing that trimming down the airbrake can't fix (5 minute mod to boost the FPS of a stock JG BAR 10).

It is. You could buy sheet metal and fold it yourself, with the proper machines and tools, and it would be cheaper. Hell I think I could 3D print one for cheaper.

Well it seems to me that Socom Gear is an extremely small company so they pay up front probably $30-$40 for an M4 hicap then spend $20-$30 on the steel shell, so they're spending $70-$80 for that mag then selling it o a supplier for a profit then that supplier is selling it to you for a profit, so it actually makes sense.
I'd just build my own mags, froget the m4 mag conversions.
I'll pass on that one, seems like it would get dirty really fast and not come out. I'd imagine it getting heavy too if you were in the rain, it would just soak it up.

Not really. Ebairsoft had some TAD jackets released not to long ago, and I think they are releasing this one for shits and giggles. And the for the Skull balaclavas, those have been out for a long time.
Its a clone of the TAD Shag Master hoodie, I wad going to buy one for Christmas, but they were out of stock.

They are the same fur on the inside though. Its MADDDDD comfortable. Warmer in the snow as well.
So, go buy a fleece jacket? If I was to buy that I could practically say I had two of the same, since one is fur and one is Nylon. It just bears too much resemblance to the jacket I already have.
Had my first game in a few months yesterday. Since we lost our old field(land got repo'd), we were playing at one of the guy's house. Now before you guys freak out, the guy lives on a good acre or so of land, which about half of which was woodland, at the end of a road with no neighbors, off another road that is out of the way of civilization.
I had a really awesome time all in all. We had about 10 guys there total, which made for some good team based games. My personal favorite was a Protect the President. I was the president, since I stuck out the most(a grey tshirt does not blend very well in the woods). I had to go from our starting area, and ring a bell on the side of the guy's house. It was 5(president's protection) versus 3(terrorists). terrorists had unlimited respawns, while our team had none.
Right off the bat, my team had me hide under a big wood sheet leaning against a tree, so the terrorists had no idea where I was. 3 of the guys pushed out to suppress the enemy, while 2 stayed back to cover me. About 5 minutes of fighting, and we decided it was time to move. One of my protection told me on the count of 3, the rest of the team would open up on the terrorists, and I and him would sprint to a big compost mound closer to the objective.
Merely a few seconds later, the guy screams out "3! 3! 3!". After the intial confusion, my team opens up, and I proceed to haul ass across open ground to the mound. Getting behind the mound involved jumping a wire fence, while the guy protecting me went prone beside it. During this sprint, my entire team was wiped out. My last remaining guy told me that he would cover me, and I needed to haul ass to the bell. I jumped back over the wire, and followed his instructions. He opened up on the terrorists, while I hauled ass across another open field, jumped yet another fence, and yanked on the rope to the bell just as my teammate gets hit.
It was an awesome game. The only problem however, is once I was moving, I ended up having our cars between me and the terrorists, so they really couldn't do anything to stop me.
