Try to get involved with some of your local agencies, see if they need help training. Airsoft is a great tool.

Teams around here have tried and failed, doesn't seem like the law enforcement guys want to train against us. Sort of sad, here we are willing to do it for free and they get practice, but they don't take the opportunity.

You could always try to be a live fire running target. They might say yes to that.

A lot of it involves standing around getting shot in the face at point blank range. We dont really do it for fun necessarily. So they dont really "play" against us so much as they use us as a training tool. Like, we mold to whatever they need us to do, could be anything from a disgruntled Iraqi to the victim of a bank robbery. Hell, much of the time, you don't even carry a weapon. But you get to have some really neat experiences (Like playing airsoft in a National Guard armory) and learn some really interesting things (Like Iraqi culture and how to properly clear a room).

Pfft in NY they just want to ban everything. Like when they brought up the airsoft issue again in NY luckly it died out.

I still use green gas, it smells like mint [editline]05:46AM[/editline] it used to smell like rotten vegetable shit before the ban

My encounter with green gas: I was at my friends house and he was dry-firing his 1911 GBB just for fun. I think he did it too much because I could taste it in his water. That thing broke a few days later at our game. All 3 of his guns were broken at that game.

I heard that bakelite mags where standard for AK-74 mags in the 80's. Was this correct or just a misinterpretation?
