Not even for the cool factor, they are pieces of junk.
And it's only one shot per shell, unlike the KWC which holds 4 per shell. At least I was able to kill people with the KWC revolver in CQB, doubt you could do much with only 6 shots.

Hey guys, how much of a difference do those precision barrels make? I'm thinking of getting one for my L85 when it arrives.
They can make a huge difference in some guns. I recommend using heavier bbs with them though, or else the results may not be as noticeable.

I think I may sell a bunch of stuff and buy a gas rifle like the WE SCAR or possibly an Umarex/KWA MP7. Probably the SCAR because it's upgradeable and will probably shoot farther.
Suggestions/criticism? Are they reliable?
Looking to spend 300-380 total (example: SCAR + 3 extra mags)
Anyone know where I can get custom tags made? Like Velcro or sow-on? I remember one but I forget the website. Kayl or someone referred me.

i presume you mean nametape which can be found on [url]www.supplycaptain.com[/url] and they are legit, I've used them before

I would get the MP7, I've heard great things about it, not so much for the WE SCAR.
Later generations of the WE SCAR should be fine. As long as you don't use the CO2 mags you shouldn't have the stock plate breaking issue.
The KWA MP7 is an awesome choice for CQB. 370fps out of the box and the sound is intimidating. Felt blowback isn't nearly as much as the SCAR, but the mags do have higher ammo capacity. Too bad they cost more too. Luckily the mags hold a ton of gas and the whole gun is very efficient on how much gas it uses. You can get 2-3 full mags of bbs on a good solid fill of gas.
One thing about the WE Scar is if you get that NPAS system or whatever you call it you can turn the gun from 450FPS to 300FPS for CQB and then back again. If i remember you twist the nozzle so it restricts gas and then untwist to allow more gas through
