I think we've all had special days of airsofting like that at one time or another. Isn't it so much fun?

When your a grenadier, it usually results in you blowing yourself up several times.
"Hey, dude, your about to lose a nade there"
*Grenade is slipping out of bandolier*
"Oh, thanks" *Goes to push grenade back into place, hits the primer*
KABOOOM
"Dude, did you just blow yourself up?"
"Uhhh, yes. Yes I did.:saddowns:"
I've never had a shit day of airsoft. Maybe its just cause I'm too optimistic all the damn time to notice.
Dark Samus, a RDS is pretty much mandatory if you play with a facemask. Otherwise it's impossible to see down the sight

Idea: get goggles.
Idea 2: Get a rail riser and a set of back up iron sights.
Idea 3: Laser.
Idea 4: Just watch the stream of bbs.
Idea 5: Get a FAMAS (high iron sight)

Or you could get a smaller facemask and get your face lower.
That FAMAS looks pretty awesome

Does it come with a white flag and a baguette? :v:
Does it come with a white flag and a baguette? :v:
No, it comes with a booklet titled "Miming 101"
That FAMAS looks pretty awesome
Are you joking me? I hate the way the FAMAS looks.
And it comes with a small Eiffel Tower key chain.
And for a limited time you can also get a beret.
The FAMAS is pretty nice looking IMO. But maybe thats because I'm part French.
Yeah.
I'm FRENCH.
So my friend just got the Marushin 8mm M1 Garand, and I'm worried about the FPS.
With a .34 at 365, I used one of those calculators to find out roughly how much force it is.
It says that it's like shooting a .2 at 500-530+ FPS.
What do you guys think about minimum range rules (though, honestly, I don't even think I want to play with him and that. Call me a pussy, but I like my face + body being intact.)
He only has 3 clips (for all you people who are anal about what they're called.), 24 bbs total, so he says that he won't be using it in CQB, but I don't trust that. If someone's shooting at you, are you really going to think "Hmm, am I too close? Darn, I'll have to let him shoot me."
its shooting more like 450-500. Now that gun shouldn't be allowed at all in CQB. 350 or lower is the only way ill play CQB. Then again i never really played it except once when it was a woods game and it had a small town
Yeah the rule here is -350 for CQB. That thing is shooting way too hot for CQB.
Most if not all CQB game sites over here in the UK have an FPS limit of about 328 (1 joule)
Where should I take my kit from here? A list of stuff I have:
-Woodland BDU
-LBV
-LC-2 Pistol Belt
-Black Rothco boots
-PASGT helmet w/ Woodland cover
-OD Nomex Flight Gloves
other misc stuff such as neck gatior, goggles, etc
Any other suggestions on what to get? I'm aiming for an 80's-90's US infantry loadout
Anyone know where I could get some pouches for the 50 round long glock mags? I've been searching around a bit and can't find any. Leg pouches would be the best.

How about Mp5 pouches? Too long?
How about Mp5 pouches? Too long?
Probably, but next time I'm playing I'll do a comparison. Thanks for the idea.
MP5 mags are 7.5" long, seems a bit too long.
I dunno, search for high cap or extended glock mag pouches. You won't find it on any airsoft site.
Guys, most of the time we play at other people's houses, so when I say CQB, I really mean "Field match, and then people got closer during it."

have any pics? I suggest a flak jacket, suspenders, canteens, butt pack, mag pouches(All the gear needs to be LC-2 btw) and then a pair of G&P dust and wind goggles.

I want to get a flak jacket but they're expensive, rare, and impractical for airsofting purposes. People might think I'm scared of getting hit with a BB if I wear a flak jacket...
All the ALICE gear I can get easily.
Stuff cardboard or styrofoam into the mp5 pouch.

just my suggestion since what I listed is what was issued to every infantryman, along with cat eyes for the helmet
What the shit? Guys look at Tactical Trunk Money. They're selling a .177 BB pistol.
Isn't that meant to kill things?

Well, that BB pistol is meant for target shooting I would figure. But its definitely not for shooting people with.
