Anyone know where to buy hollowed out NBC filters or how to disassemble and hollow out a cheap NBC filter [i]without destryoying it[/i]? Need it to make my gasmask not look stupid as hell.

Actually quite a few gas masks of similar design are rated for protection against flying debris. I can't tell if it is one of them but if it is it'll be more than able to take a hit from multible bb's.
The reason being is that a US saftey board (can't remember who sorry) test them by firing a 1/4 inch steel ball bearing at the mask lens at 300 feet per second to see how they stand up to the aformentioned flying debris.

Heh, its a S.E.A. Full Face gas mask, and yeah it's rated for flying debris, it's also got this cool microphone thing that lets you talk to people.. Its usually around $150 but I bought it off a guy at Modesto CQB for $45 :signings:

I found an AR-15 airsoft for 1500. I mean seriously, with that kind of money you can buy the real damn thing. WASR-10s are only like, 500 bucks. AR-15s are at a meer 700 sometimes.

Airsoft guns aren't intended to kill. If they were they'd be cheaper. There's a certain amount of precision with airsoft guns.
For instance, rubber less than lethal 12 gauge shotgun shells cost about 4 times more expensive than normal buckshot. Does that mean the lethal buckshot shells are better? Not necessarily.

Airsoft guns are significantly more complicated internally than a firearm is.
