I'm starting an airsoft team. Not a competitive team (yet), just a group of guys who always skirmish together. We sort of have been a team for a while, but we are now thinking of having a name and uniform. It kind of started when I was looking through a rack of iron-on patches in a craft shop, joking with my dad (my second in command) that we could get some for the guys for airsoft. The jolly roger looked good, but there's another (much better) team in our area that uses it. Then I saw something else that would strike fear into the hearts of our opponents. Clowns! Sort of joking at first, we actually thought about it and asked the other guys, who liked it too. So we are going to be called The Clowns, our name matches our discipline, play-style, general physique and sense of humour. It also goes with our ability to terrify people and make them laugh at the same time. SEND IN THE CLOWNS!

I'm thinking about getting one for my G18C, got to play around with the kit at AEX today. Damn that kit is solid, despite not having a G17/G18 installed yet. I know it's impractical, but I have plenty of practical weapons as is. Since Spartan Imports is the distributor, they'll use the same orange paint they use on their CA's flash hiders. Luckily this isn't that hard to remove, just keep applying nail polish remover and rub it and it will come off. Fine sandpaper may work better. I might turn it into a primary weapon of sorts. Add a threaded barrel, Gemtech Outback silencer (should be small enough to fit through there), longer inner barrel, and toss on an Aimpoint or Eotech. I think that would make for one badass looking FPG9.
