You guys should realize that there are over 1.5 million different variants of the AK. All because it doesn't have wood doesnt mean it is shit. I do respect others opinions, however, there are more custom AK's in the world than the standard wood models.

Okay guys... What's the best M4-style rifle for the money? My JG has bit the dust, and the folk at AEX say it's totally better to just get a new gun than bring it in for repairs (they hate fixing clones). Please, nothing over $250. And if it could support lipos, that'd be great.

If you fork out an extra $50, get a KWA M4. I hear those are great, no real problems. It's your best bet for a lipo ready gun, even though most guns can handle a lipo. When you fire, all it does is make whirring sounds, not the firing sounds you'd normally hear. And the battery wires around the front end are starting to fall apart. I've done all I can with electrical tape on the front ends, but I'm afraid that there might be some wire tearing inside the body as well.
