Ive got the full stock version, and the receiver on the SR-25 is much blocky-er. It doesn't have the rounded upper.
I like the gas block on the AR-10 alot more than the SR-25's, however.
M16 front sight on a 7.62 DMR rifle like that just ain't doing it for me though.
The people at the airsoft shop sold it to me for $5 since it was used :downs:
The only problem with the AR-10 is the hopup sucks (I've heard CA's internals are not... exactly the best); I had to take that gun apart countless times just to get the wee little cogs aligned and the hopup is weird that it doesn't really work right; buying a tightbore kinda fixed it though (for some very obscure reason)
Out of the box the groupings sucked balls (my TM G36c did waaay better) so I needed the tightbore anyway
Get a rail riser for that scope. Works wonders for me when I use my CA SR25 with a paintball mask. Sometimes you'll be in a position where you just can't bend your head at 80 degrees.
thanks for the advice :3:
Edit:
The CA AR10 has a working bolt-catch system

Real issued ACU
Mich 2000 replica
Tan Flakjaks
OD Green Shemagh

Condor Jungle Boots
OE Tech Plate Carrier with 5 m4 mag pouches and a freaking cool patch.
I'm planning to obtain more equipment in a month.
SO MANY FLOWERS!
Also, the loadout looks pretty cool, too.

Thank you. I'm planning to switch entirely to multicam soon. I'm also planning to get tan boots, a new Mich 2000 because the one I currently have has a broken chin clip (my idiotic brother), and some more pouches.
Looks great. Is that a kickass camera or equally kickass photoshop effect?
How do you like your plate carrier? I can't tell exactly which OETECH plate carrier it is, but I've been looking for something that'll give me that look.

It's this one: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_171&products_id=2693
I actually bought it off a guy on the airsoft forums I go to. I got it for 50 dollars with the pouches already with them. It was a freaking sweet deal, and I photoshopped the picture. I just wanted to add some more because the camera I have takes them at a good resolution, but lacks in color.
Edit: Missed your question. The plate carrier is very comfortable. More comfortable than my last one which was too big for me.

The Kar98 is Skirmishable.
4 shells is 10$ that's about 2.50 per shell and then the cost of 1 bb.
Cheaper than a real bullet.

I think he posted that in the wrong thread. He might have meant the one where they were discussing a GBB AK being skirmishable. I may be wrong though.

No, he posted it in the right place. They were talking about WWII airsoft guns.

Oh right. Earlier page.
Yea, just figured I would share that it is skirmishable.
Plus the fact you should have time to collect easily 1 shell out of 4 so it would be a easily skirmishable weapon.
Unless the internals suck.
@azndude Loadout looks good. You look young, how old are you?

How is $2.50 a shot affordable? You'd be spending at least $20-$30 a game just on shells.

why buy a whole new helmet when you can just buy a replacement chinstrap that's real?

I'm trying to find a chin clip for my PASGT helmet. I've looked everywhere, and found nothing.

I tried searching for one a while ago but I have yet to find out. I mean, if it's going to cost more than the helmet itself, I would rather buy a new one a find a way to sell this one.

Because you are not someone who goes spray and pray, plus you would usualy have time to get the shells back anyway.
And really 2.50 a shell is cheap compaired to some bullets.

Ebay or www.supplycaptain.com they're like 20 to 30 but its worth it, replica chin straps never fit like real ones

It's fine, I already bought one from a guy.
Heading out to Fort Ord tomorrow with a Marine friend of mine. I'm going to be packing the CIRAS with a shitload of stuff, my friend will be using his real gear, or some cheap RRV. Hopefully the photographer will get some pictures of us out there. The game maxed out at 400 people in registration, this the first game they've had since December due to some issues with the city. There's also going to be a night game, so I'll be rocking the TM tracer unit and my tac light. Expect helmet cam footage later on.
pretty much a woodland ghillie suit, custom ares m200 intervention at 600fps industial spring in that bitch its pull weaght is like 45 to 50 lbs (before call of duty showed it), balaclava, woodland vest and camo under the ghillie, and a magpul pts

Sorry, I am having trouble believing you have a gun that shoots 600fps that you use on people. With a 50 lb pull weight.
You must have horrible compression if you only get 600fps out of a 50lb spring. Shit I can get over 300fps on a 50lb compound bow, and just the point itself can be over 100g, compared to an airsoft gun shooting a 0.20g bb. Haven't heard anything decent about the Ares M200 to being with. I saw a guy with it twice and everyone who tried it said it was the biggest waste of money, seeing as most people's stock BAR 10's were shooting better than it (in terms of accuracy and range).
and a magpul pts
You have the entirety of the Magpul Professional Training & Simulation division?
...
I think a 600 FPS rifle would be banned everywhere.
