Probably not.
Still going to get that Christmas loadout together.
EDIT: Anyone know where I can get a good tan MICH helmet with a NVG mount?
The first and second aren't MICH helmets. The second has those side rails that look terribad - what do they do, anyway, besides look weird?
For the sake of simplicity here, I'm looking for a MICH 2000, not an 01 or 02.
There you go now it save's us some time. And I don't know what they do.
Oh god damn look what I found.

Actually the second one is a MICH 2001, same one I use. It just has rails bolted to the sides.
As for the color, who cares, spray paint away. Looks a lot better than the bright tan they come in anyways. All of my helmets have been painted.
Before: Light Tan, stood out too much.

After: Little bit of darker brown spray paint, with a few bursts from distance with black spray paint to give it that dirty look.

They're all missing NVG mounts.
EDIT: Ender, that's a good idea, actually - what paint did you use?
Still, what do those side rails do? They look bad without anything mounted. Also, is there any benefit of using a 2000 over an '01? My ears won't have as much/any protection.
Look, I'm not even going to comment on what you actually said - mostly because I didn't read it. It's overflowing with BS. You obvious stopping trying to understand anything I said a long time ago.
You missed the insult completely.
You are a dumb-shit.
And a hypocrite.
"Youre dumb hurr durr btw I didnt even read what you wrote."
The thing on the front is a NVG mount. Or buy it separate.

Hey ender what do the side rails do?

How would they mount, then? Drilling through the forehead part?
Fuck yea. Just your missing one thing. Duct Tape
Thats the mount's mount. Obviously.
mount grenade launchers
Ender, is a 2001 worth the reduced ear protection? It still looks funny, mind you, but if it's all I could get...

I think I was using Rustoleum, just make sure you get the flat matte colors or else you'll have a shiny plastic looking helmet.
The side rails actually take a small plastic section of rail that slide onto it. It's your standard rail you would use for mounting accessories to your gun, so there's limitless ideas.
Here I have my Fenix TA20 mounted to it along with a pressure pad for easier access. Since this light has a strobe function the idea was to turn on the strobe as I breached a room, royally fucking with everyone's eyes.

There's also stupider less practical ideas too, such as mounting a grenade launcher.

The only reason I bought a MICH 2001 was so I could wear my headset under the helmet. With my MICH 2000 I couldn't wear my Sordin headset with it. I still need to get around to machining a helmet cam mount that fits onto the NVG mount.
I thought of getting some kind of combat "earmuffs" like you have. Mostly for when Thunder Bs get tossed in my face. Sensitive ears, do not want. Also, better awareness that way methinks.
They do help from loud noises, wearing them on Halloween night proved that when some stupid teenage girl decided to scream insanely loud. Headset canceled it right out, while my friends suffered.
As for better awareness, no. It's harder to hear things at distance, and just snapping your fingers or any clicking noises can temporarily dampen the amount of sound that comes in.
I see.
Thunder Bs are everywhere in CQB. Again, though, isn't that also where it'd be useful, when people are close in and you can hear better?
On the topic of Christmas loadouts, I'm sure the best one goes to the tactical santa camo we had a while back somewhere, driving something.
On the topic of christmas loadout as well, gotta have more entries in the community holiday themed picture thing thread:

So I worked out that a IDF loadout would cost me around $400~
I kind of want to use my IBA loadout again, I need my goggles and mask first though because the shitty Paintball mask I use now won't fit a MICH and I think a PASGT and Pantball mask looks like shit on the rest of it.
It's bulky, kind of heavy and has a lot of unneeded space (If I wasn't going to have a rest/refit break ten/twenty minutes after the start of the game, maybe it'd be useful but I don't have to carry a lot to one match)
But hot damn it's badass;

Might as well do it now, it'll be too hot to use it in the Summer.
Those gloves look extremely comfortable.
Wool Finger-Less gloves from my local Surplus Store, they're pretty cheap and really common.
I lost my $45 pair of sage Condor gloves. :saddowns:
these fuckers:
[img_thumb]http://www.airsoftgi.com/images/airsoft_OET_HK221glove_OD-BLK.jpg[/img_thumb]
(only mine didn't have CONDOR plastered everywhere, just on the tag inside)
I have the same exact gloves, only $25/35 and they have Condor labels on them. I really like them in the winter, but in the summer when you want protection and keeping your fingers free the wool ones do alright, although they're pretty warm even so.
I'm considering buying another pair, but I could use that money for another M4 GBB mag..
Kawaii, are you drawing Jenkem??
No, but I thought Fish Muffin was the new artist?
I used to have a pair of Mechanix gloves with the fingers cut off.
yoU CUT YOUR FINGERS OFF? OMG im so sorry :'(
