youre fucking nuts!
But I'll have the most expensive Russian loadout ever because everything will be in Digital Flora and I'll have a $400 plate carrier.
[editline]29th December 2010[/editline]
While I'm at it I might as well try getting a 6B26 too.
Well it's my goal to be better than that guy. Time to start saving the $400 for a 6B43 then.

I'd go for the 6B13 imho
http://skippersmilitarysupply.com/product.sc?productId=22&categoryId=4
in Digi Flora too
oh fun; I was looking at his loadouts and then:
-HUGE AMOUNTS OF EXPENSIVE GEAR AND MULTIPLE LOADOUTS-
It's like Ender V2: Ender Harder.
[editline]30th December 2010[/editline]
God, I want one of these. They're perfect. Add PCU and a helmet job and we're rocking Ranger.
http://www.ebairsoft.com/rrvv-vest-hawg-p-2814.html
About $250~ for a full Ranger loadout in that case. Too bad both this and the PCU set are out of stock. Ah, oh well..

If I got that I would be getting the MOLLE version.
http://www.soviet-propaganda.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_17&products_id=192
Only problem with the 6B13 is that although it has more MOLLE space overall than the 6B43 and is cheaper it doesn't have any MOLLE on the sides or the back like the 6B43. With the 6B43 the load can be distributed more evenly because I can put mags, comms, a rubber knife for stealth kills and a Swiss Army Knife in case I need to do simple fixes for my gun in the field on the front of the vest, on the sides I can put canteens, a utility pouch for snacks and if I ever get a sidearm a holster. Then on the back I can have a utility pouch full of non essential items. With the 6B13 all that stuff would have to fit on the front of the vest and probably weigh me down a lot more than it would if it was evenly spread on on a 6B43.

Except he looks like one of our users too
Except he looks like one of out users too
I think he looks like Timebomb myself, originally I was going to say say 'Timebomb 2: Timebomb harder' but Timebomb doesn't really spend a lot of money on loadouts and more so for kick ass noob cannons.
Well it looks like I might be overestimating the MOLLE space on the 6B43 a bit. If you take off the groin flap you get more but I'm still not totally sure if on the front I would be able to get 3 AK mag pouches, a multitool pouch, a bayonet scabbard and a radio pouch.

[editline]30th December 2010[/editline]
Actually with the groin flap removed it looks to have just as much MOLLE space on the front as the 6B13, maybe even more.

These dudes only showed up on the oil rig (when you play as Raiden) when you'd been found in the alert phase and you'd have to fight your way to safety.
Basically if you've got a copy of MGS2 when you're on the oil rig, go pick a few fights and these lot won't be far away.
Oooh, shit were those the guys with the shields?
Yeah they some times were armed with sheilds
So I got a replica mesh mask (stalker) last night... I'll do a quick demo
it's alright except that the mask itself is pretty hard and lacks foam where it comes up against your face, and it's a little annoying; it goes away after awhile, the back is supported by one velcro strap... implying you'd probably want to wear a cap

Also as a bonus it fits helmets pretty well

The guarder goggles (tx1000 I think) are definitely not the best match for it though, because it doesn't have foam and instead uses a thin rubber piece to create a seal around your eyes. Also it doesn't meld well with the mesh mask; I'll probably get new goggles because of this
Any thoughts on how to stop the rubbing? Does it stay on your head pretty stable or no? Where did you get it?
That face mask looks a little...ick. Keep the helmet whatever you do, though.
Yeah they some times were armed with sheilds
oh shit fuck those guys

the mask is awesome

This is the one I'm getting, it covers the ears and has foamy shit around the edges. How does yours hold up to BB impacts?
oh fun; I was looking at his loadouts and then:
you Illinois?
Yeah
If I ever decide to spend the money to make a STALKER loadout (Which isn't really that expensive, I just need to buy the GORKA and a Russian chest-rig so $140) I think I'd get a LR-300 or G300 or whatever it is those strange M4-looking guns are called. A&K and G&G sell them, I wouldn't have to buy new mags (Although I do have spare AK mags laying around) and I like it. I never could get into the AK thing, I tried, but they just don't appeal to me.
STALKER, IDF, U.S. Army Ranger and completing my USMC/PMC loadout are all on the list so far.
LR-300 :gizz:
Any thoughts on how to stop the rubbing? Does it stay on your head pretty stable or no? Where did you get it?
Rubbing can be somewhat circumvented via balaclava, but I'd recommend a DIY foam padding around the mask. The velcro is really limited, so it's merely one size (although where the straps physically attach to the mask have soft velcro, allowing room for some improvisation,) but the adjustment is pretty limited. That is why I recommended a cap worn backward or some other hat that makes your head slightly bigger
I got it at AEX btw

That's not foam, that's just the covering on the metal so it's pretty hard; it chafes too :v:
also, going to test it against bb impacts once I get my ppsh working
I'm glad I was wearing my brassguard last skirmish, I got double tapped right in the mask
