oh well better than never you guys should make a Netherlands loadout with Colt Canada C7s that'd be so cash [editline]1st March 2011[/editline] rofl dat lbe
I'm currently playing with a multicam BDU, some OD webbing (wasn't able to get my hands on a CIRAS :sigh:) And I'm gunning with a rebranded CYMA ak47. I'm a bit of a noob to the hobby; I'm more of a chairsofter at this point, but I've had some good times so far.
If you've had good times, then it's worth it. Unless you accidentally get somebody pregnant. Then it isn't worth it. Unless you like children.
I thought it just got legalized recently
Just 1 gun because it didn't look like a replica.
OD FLC is literally the same as one of those russian vests. [editline]1st March 2011[/editline]
But it doesn't look right. If I'm going to do a Russian loadout I'm going to do it right. The price isn't even that bad for the setup I'd do just to start out. Vest - $110 3x AK mag pouches - $27 each Medkit/utility pouch - $25 $212 oh my god that's so overpriced for milspec gear fuck that I'll just get an Eagle Industries CIRAS for $600 instead.

OD FLC is literally the same as one of those russian vests. [editline]1st March 2011[/editline]
For one every single FLC I've ever seen has "US" stamped in big black letters on the right shoulder. Not exactly what you want to see on a Russian loadout. And they really aren't that similar. The FLC looks more like a MOLLE crossdraw to me. FLC 6Sh112
They look kinda similar to me
russian vest looks more like a crossdraw get molle crossdraw in od put russian pouches w/ russian camo on it no one will suspect a thing
Yeah I'll pay $30 for the MOLLE crossdraw and have it fall apart on me instead of paying $100 for the Russian MOLLE vest and have it last forever. Sounds like a great deal to me.
I'd personally go for the real deal, especially since I'm not a geardo so it's worth it to get expensive gear as it is the only loadout I will ever have.
I'd personally go for the real deal, especially since I'm not a geardo so it's worth it to get expensive gear as it is the only loadout I will ever have.
Exactly. I'm probably not going to make a million different loadouts so I might as well go all out on what's for sure going to be my main loadout.
DPM version for loadsa emone [img_thumb]http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2010/342/d/8/kf_lieutenant_masterson_by_atagene-d34gn6u.png[/img_thumb]
The guy at my field has one of those vests. It's pretty neat the way they do the buckle system.
give him a brit helmet, some DPM and monopoly emone and tell him to run around the field in a british accent while throwing money at opponents
So JGSDF Special Forces-ish loadout I'm still deciding on a vest. The Condor Modular Operator Plate Carrier (Clone of some other existing vest, but cheap and Condor's decent) Flyye FAPC Gen 2 with Cummberband (It's a bit too small for my tastes but it's on the table) Or a Land CIRAS (I can't find one that I like and is affordable though) FSBE Style Vest: (For the life of me I can't find a picture of anyone wearing this with more than stock pouches and with it adjusted properly so I'm not sure yet)
The gon b green yeas? [editline]1st March 2011[/editline] OD*
Probably OD but I won't be completely sure until I bring my cammies to the field and compare with the other guys to check how well they go compared to Ranger Green. Hell, tan may even be a possibility but probably not. [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline] Added a vest to the list.
I've never really seen any JSDF Ranger personnel wearing anything besides some alice clone or the IBA in JSDF pattern to no idea there [editline]1st March 2011[/editline] I suggest OD though, so you can get some other bdu down the line and still call it a loadout

OD gear is leaps and bonds easier for me to get a hold off. Ranger Green however, has it's own appeal because I can transfer it to my US Army Ranger loadout in the winter, obviously though it'd cost more and would be more than a hassle. I've also NEVER seen Ranger Green in person so I have no idea what it looks like and pictures are not a very good representation. Tough choice.
and take pics of your JSDF loadout with ALICE [editline]:([/editline] :ninja:
I'm buying a helmet cover and a flak jacket. I'm also asking my Japan-Man about ALICE pouches, so we'll see about that.
He looks exhausted as fuck or something
I would volunteer my ALICE for you to try out with your JSDF stuff so you can feel how it works for you with the cammies.
Nah, already placed a bid on Ebay for a belt and Suspender set for $6 shipped. I just need the JSDF patterned pouches because all the US pouches have big black US markings on them.
Pouches doesn't have to be exactly the same pattern as the BDU
No but even those are JSDF pouches, not the same exact colors mind you but Japanese. I can't get anything like that in the US. They're pretty unique. Where do you keep finding these pictures?
Google Search put in JSDF Ranger in Japanese [editline]1st March 2011[/editline] here 自衛隊 レンジャー
Ah, I've been doing the same thing but on Goggle.jp and Yahoo.jp
as long as you put it in Japanese the results should be exclusively in Japanese (for google anyway) [editline]1st March 2011[/editline] tbh I like the JASDF camo more though :v:
