Send it piece by piece?
No, we have our guns shipped to my friend's uncle in Montana then we go down to get them and when we get to the border crossing we declare them and they make it through. But like I said, there's no guarantee it won't be seized and I don't even want to take the risk for myself and I'm sure none of my friends want to take a risk for a guy they don't even know.
Ah. That would be a pain in the ass.
Ah. That would be a pain in the ass.
And most times we don't even get our guns until five months after they got to my friend's uncle because everyone is too lazy to go get them. That's why I only ever buy used guns from my friends and the next gun I buy will be bought in Canada.
Send it piece by piece?
I would do that if it meant shipping the upper and lower receiver separate. If it required more disassembling I might still do it but it would be a royal pain in the ass for you to re-assemble.

Guys, by this weekend I hope I will no longer be a chairsofter. I've been clearing out a the thick woods behind my house for the first time, and let me say the thorny vines, small trees, bushes, etc... are so thick I eventually just went crazy using the lawnmower making a nice trail back there with what's beginning to be a nice clearing of the entire woods. I pretty much want to leave a few maze trails with a lot of open space. By this weekend I'll be camping out there in a Stalker OP with some friends, and by next week I'll be steaking out the outlines of a double story treehouse. I've got the designs and such prepped, it'll have wiring, insulation, and fairly large for people to go in. I'm going to make it two stories, on the first story there will be room for a small sofa and chair, and a place to put consoles and my wall mounted LED tv that I'll bring out there some nights. On the second story there will be loft bedding. The main tree house will be connected via a wooden walkway to another deck on an opposite tree for people to have a hammock and defend in an airsoft match. Projected costs are under 400$.

Yeah, if they see the lower receiver, that's the part they'd confiscate. [editline]07:47PM[/editline]
:aaaaa: Can I come live with you?
yeah rly, i want in on that
:aaaaa: Can I come live with you?
Actually, this fits more.
I'm making my first trip to Home Depot prolly Sunday after I steak out flooring and such. Anybody willing to travel here is free to join in on a Stalker OP. We're going to be plastic casting artifacts and such. That and the little details like canned meats, vegetables, etc are what will be eaten, as well as having powdered drinks.
Yeah, if they see the lower receiver, that's the part they'd confiscate. [editline]07:47PM[/editline] yeah rly, i want in on that
But it's obviously not a real firearm, I'm not exactly sure how that all works but it would make sense to me that they wouldn't confiscate something that can't do any harm.
Eh, the whole thing is really sketchy here in Canada, the book of legalities about airsoft and "replica firearms" contradict itself many times, saying at one part that it's not a 'replica', but it is a firearm, then at a second part it says the exact opposite. If there was a ~98% sure way to get the gun across the border, I'd totally do it, but you'd still have to wait while I scrounge up more money. [editline]ads[/editline] As much as I dislike ASC's community, they're somewhat knowledgeable on this kind of thing. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=23034 Worth a read
But it's obviously not a real firearm, I'm not exactly sure how that all works but it would make sense to me that they wouldn't confiscate something that can't do any harm.
Canadian culture is very anti gun. That's why we can't import them.

Realized today that you could do a makeshift MOPP suit using a soft shell jacket and a mask. Not as cool as a real MOPP suit, but it could be used as a neat STALKER outfit.
it looks like a raincoat lol
Is it that time again? Yes it is that time again. www.tinychat.com/facepunchgearwhores [editline]11:24PM[/editline] Double Post With Content! Pantac CIRAS, Pantac MAP, various pantac and SPECIAL FORCES-Brand pouches, Echo 1 bungie sling. Faux-woodland pants, I call it subdued woodland- it's pretty much M81 pattern with tiger stripe colors. Protech "Mercenary" Ski Helmet, JT paintball goggles, Petzl headlight. It's more a stopgap until I pick up a MICH than anything else, but it works pretty well, and the "Mercenary" is pretty cool because the built in earguards have speakers, which I have hooked up to my radio. Generation Kill loadout would fuck shit up.
We should play football in full MOPP.
We should play football in full MOPP.
Have fun with heat stroke. And before you say it, yes I got the reference.
I'd love to find a MOPP Suit. Generation Kill loadout would fuck shit up.
Woodland in desert bwahahah Note: My MOPP suit is lined with charcoal so if my sweaty skin comes into contact with the MOPP suit for a prolonged period of time I get this charcoal residue all over my skin nothing wrong with it but it feels incredibly uncomfortable having charcoal and sweat mix on your skin, especially on a hot day
"Anyone happen to forget we're invading a fucking desert country?". And I've had worse things come into contact with my skin, so I'm not too worried about the charcoal. Unless it stains stuff like car upholstery and what not.
Oh Codemonkey, did you want to buy anything of mine that I had to sell? I seriously need to get this shit out of here. I think I'm gonna have to chairsoft for a while and use the money to buy a new computer because this one is dying.
