:q:
I just got a Flectarn Field jacket to go with my pants. Ill get pictures up when I have access to a camera today or tomorrow.
So I have a question
OD or black vest and gear?
I'm leaning towards OD.
I know black works in a lot of areas that are not like extremely bright. When I play I blend in fine with black. But once I used a jacket that was nearly OD green, I was laying on the floor and my friend walked right by me. So I don't know lol.
I'd go with the base color of whatever camo you're using, od would probably be better, or coyote, coyote goes good with everything
With Flecktarn you get anyway with almost any color you want. I've used both Black and Tan just fine with my Flecktarn loadouts, in both woodland and dry environments.
Tan would really only suit Flecktarn if you're trying to pull off a KSK loadout, otherwise it could look out of place. Even then I recommend using Coyote Brown, it blends better.
You wouldnt happen to have pictures of Flecktarn/OD and Flecktarn/coyote, would you?
I would.
I'm on the right with a Coyote Brown CIRAS. The dump pouch is the color of OETech/Condor's Tan, so you can compare them. My friend on the left is using a real Flectarn webbing set.

Using a Condor Plate Carrier in Tan on a bright day.

My friend on the left is using a Woodland camo crossdraw vest.

I'd say OD. It would probably match Flecktarn a bit better.
Yeah, that OD vest looks awesome.
Along the same lines, would it look good on jungle MARPAT too?
OD should work with MARPAT just fine. Though when I think MARPAT, I think of using a Tan or CB plate carrier with it, but that's just me.
marpat was designed to be work in conjunction with coyote brown gear
My field is mostly a woodland/jungle sort of environment. Tan and brown doesn't agree with the surroundings.
Well in some cases you can use tan, brown, and Desert camo for woodland. It all depends on how brown the ground is. In my case, Desert Camo works just as good as anything else out there, sometimes even standing out less than Woodland camo.

The ground of my field last I checked was littered with dark green leaves and a brown one here and there. Last I checked though was last year before the stupid gun ban barred everybody from playing Airsoft. Chairsofting isn't the same.
Noice MP5K, Ender.

The old Loadout with my Condor Plate Carrier

I think the loadout looks just as good with that plate carrier. How much was it?
[editline]01:40AM[/editline]
The OE Tech / Condor plate carrier I mean
I got it for $80 without the pouches. Looking at selling it locally right now, but most people who are looking to buy plate carriers already have this one.
How much are you looking to sell it for? Spring break's coming up, I might be able to head over to San Jose/Milpitas from SF.
I need a new loadout. I'm considering making a Metro 2033 one, since my ACU is soon to be out of service and thus I have no excuse to use it.

Noooo, I don't want Metro 2033 loadouts to replace STALKER loadouts.
They're the same more or less. Except Metro 2033 use MOLLE vests and Stalker rarely does. IE: Clear Sky. No one else in the game.
They're both Russian too. I don't know where Metro 2033 takes place but it's being made by a company located in Russia.
A metro 2033 loadout would be easier too. MOLLE vests are more common than the webbing and such that is used in STALKER.

Wow, Metro 2033 does take place in Russia...

I have it up for $50 right now, along with a ton of other stuff I need to get rid of.
