M81 is second-only to ACU and multicam in overusedness. Everyone seems to have it (though Woodland is cooler, in my opinion, than either of the two former patterns). Personally, if I wanted to go with an "exotic" camouflage, I'd get something like that crazy blue Russian stuff. No idea where I'd get it, though.
Most sites that sell Russian gear will have some form of blue camo on them.
Now how is this camo going to be effective?
It isn't. It's just something to look. Unless I play at night/CQB, in which case it'd matter a whole lot less.
If you can clothe a squad in in it, maybe the other team will mistake them for a divine tidal wave and run in terror.
Absolutely this.

I use it because it was given to me and it works. I am aiming for a set of Type-03 Tibet Flecktarn, Vietnam Tigerstripe (not the damned modern variants) and some normal flecktarn, maybe even a set of CADPAT. [editline]27th November 2010[/editline] I have a pair of BDU pants in that pattern somewhere.
Ahahahahaha, that face
Don't buy the Echo 1, just buy it straight from JG.
Can't find the JG anywhere reliable, ASGI has the E1 and the dickton of discount shit. [editline]26th November 2010[/editline] dont talk shit about acu and effectiveintexas-cam
PMC loadout with Ranger Green? Let's discuss.
multicam is now texicam [editline]26th November 2010[/editline] wow totally do it acu and ranger green youll be pwnage ass sex:)
My PMC loadout is Khaki Cargo Pants or Jeans with a black Polo. It needs to work with that. (Already planning a Summer loadout)
no all pmcs dress in acu are u fucking high wtf r u saying
I have somewhat of a PMC loadout with my black sweatshirt and tan khaki cargo pants. I like to wear the same sweatshirt with my M81 BDU pants.
PMC loadout = tacticool cargo pants in od / tan + anything else
CIRAS upgraded. All the additional pads for only $20, just had to wait a month for them to be restocked and shipped. This is the setup I'll probably use. All pads attached. The groin pad uses 2 plastic buckles, but my CIRAS doesn't have these buckles so I can't use it at the moment. I'd have to sew some on to make it work. Is that coloration due to the camera or is it really like that? You should take a picture of you wearing it.
I like your bed.
nice CIRAS
Me wearing it. Neck guard isn't properly attached, so if it looks weird that's why.
lets get in enders sweet bed and have a party

The shoulder pads are ok, they tend to rotate around more than I would like, especially when reaching for my dump pouch. They're lightweight that's for sure, but honestly, I still prefer my old cardboard ODST shoulder pads I made. Those were awesome and could take abuse, yet not hamper my movement.
but they're cardboard...?
M81 is good for the soul. None of this ACU garbage. That crap's heresy (unless you're like Codemonkey and can actually pull that stuff and manage to look awesome at the same time).
uh no leave now
uh no leave now
Why? Everything I said was factually accurate. M81 is cool, ACU is a demon spawn, and Codemonkey can wear the latter pattern and still look cool. You leave now.

You leave now.
sorry but no most M81 is not designed for hot weather, therefore it's not "cool", ACU is amazing so you're wrong the only correct point is Codemonkey wearing ACU and still looking good but even then I can do so too
M81 is sexy if worn with all 80's gear. ACU is ugly, but Codemonkey pulls it off somehow.
M81 is sexy if worn with all 80's gear.
Wish I could get all 80's gear. What was the standard US infantry loadout in the mid-80's?
ACU is ugly, but Codemonkey pulls it off somehow.
:buddy: My M81 BDU's are all hot weather and were worn in Panama
You best be trollin', boy.
nope most M81 falls under the definition of "insulated for cold weather" not "cool" because it's not made for hot weather deal w/ it fage [editline]27th November 2010[/editline]
:buddy: My M81 BDU's are all hot weather and were worn in Panama
they are therefore "cool"
