Should I go for strait WWII or a more stalker loadout?
Where do you play? And what weapons do you have currently?
Gear and kit will be about the same cost wise, AKs are more affordable and such though, WWII guns are more rare. Off the top of my head, I can think of maybe 10-15 or so skirmishable WWII replicas.
there are about 5 commercially made skirmishable WWII guns.
I can think of:
AGM Mp40
AGM MP44
Marushin M1 Garand (I haven't seen the stock accuracy, and there's not many 8mm tightbores...)
Marushin M1 Carbine (See above)
AGM Sten
TM Thompson (as well as some other brands)
Ares (?) PPSH
Didn't I see a BAR somewhere? I thought I saw that announced
And (This is a massive stretch) the DBoys Kar98k
I haven't tried most of those, so I can't vouch for whether they're good or not. I do have the MP40, and it's pretty decent.

The Garand ejects clips, so that is a huge turn off. The Dboys K98, just no. In every way.

The garand is no way skirmishable at all. The carbine has been out of production for about 5 years, the mags cost more than the gun. The dboys k98 is not skirmishable either.
VFC makes a BAR which is hard to find.
Im talking about gear wise. Should I restrict myself to WWII ammo pouches, clothing etc...?
Or go for a more post-apocalyptic look?
I currently have an A&K SR25 and a Stag15.
If I go WWII, I would get probably the Cybergun Thompson.

Ah, okay. I forgot about the clip ejection, and I didn't know the carbine was out of production.

There is a clone BAR now actually. Its on evike for like 300.
And the Garand is somewhat skrimishable. Some rich kid at a local field has one that he runs occasionally. The thing can really put those 8mms down range a ways.
The K98 is understandable with the whole shell ejecting thing.
My friend just got a Marushin M1 Garand, and that's the perfect way to describe him. Some rich kid (at one point, he went to a local airsoft store to buy BBs, and left with a G&G MP5.), except that he hasn't gotten to use the Garand at a OP yet.

At my first game I almost left with a G&G M14. I decided I would look around before dropping $300 on a secondhand gun.

I've never used the MP40 but the externals feel pretty nice on it.
VFC has a Bar
Clone bar coming out or already out
Tanaka k98 which is nearly impossible to find now a days. Mags are up to 60-80 a pop right now.

It take's mags? (serious question)
I would kill for a solid K98 that didn't cost $1000+.
It take's mags? (serious question)
Tanaka Kar98 takes mags. hold 10rd's. They go in flush with the body of the gun. You put it in where the plate for internal magazine goes.

there are people who take vsr10 internals and put them in a k98 body
Your only choice now though is to take Real Steel Kar98 shells which kinda pisses off the real steel owners. Dboy Kar98's are done and out. Only a few left and they had a price increase
I'm probably better off getting my licence and just getting a real one then.
But then you can't shoot people with it. There will also be miles of red tape involved.

Classic Army AR-10 with custom front-end and Tokyo Marui G36
painted the mask myself
How do you manage to see through your scope with your full face mask on? I like the stock over the shoulder as well.
How do you manage to see through your scope with your full face mask on?
balls of steel......... no actually I have to bend my head like 80 degrees (works wonders for me)
the shot was posed so don't expect too much
fyi, trigger finger and selector switches are no go's. They may seem like just airsoft guns but they should be treated just like an actual firearm.
Get a rail riser for that scope. Works wonders for me when I use my CA SR25 with a paintball mask. Sometimes you'll be in a position where you just can't bend your head at 80 degrees.
M16 front sight on a 7.62 DMR rifle like that just ain't doing it for me though.
the hell? is that aftermarket? all of my sr25s came with flip ups
Has to be, just looked at CA's AR10 and it has a gas block and a flip up sight.

I have the A&K SR-25 URX. They look so similar except they seem so different.
