Sounds like a sociopath to me, I have a few symptoms with being one and I love having power. Sometimes it leads to me making other people feel bad. I don't know if you can do anything about this though, but some people do become sociopaths after sexual abuse and stuff like that.
I've always been one since I was little, but it's died down a bit. I used to manipulate everyone to my own needs and it always worked. I tried to stop it but I can't help but continue it. And me being nice leads to me being arrogant and acting without any self control. Yet somehow I still have lots of friends, because it goes unnoticed unless it's people closest to me.
