I never really considered the word 'digress' as being part of an advanced level of vocabulary. I mean, I've heard kids younger than I am use it and I read it all the time, so it would only make sense that I use it. And I don't think I'm smart. Average to maybe below average intelligence in my opinion. I'm secure in that and I don't have anything to prove.
