If anyone bought out EA, for some reason I'd think it'd be Microsoft.
Then again, Microsoft doesn't really seem to care about having exclusives or studios, and seem to be banking on Live more then anything.

Old Republic wasn't that bad really; it's just from my personal experience, it wasn't worth staying subbed to a MMO that was practically a ghost town with nothing interesting going on. This was before the server merges, but it's too little too late.
If EA flopped, Zenimax would buy it.

It was just overhyped. Still pretty fun.
I thought the DRM was what killed Spore. The game itself was good.

the maps still aren't free though. If they lived up to their promise, we'd get the maps for free but paying for the content/dlc/bullshit would get us those extra weapons, dogtags, and other shit nobody cares about.

Will's a great guy. I loved his games, and she always seemed enthusiastic about what he made. Its a real shame he's pretty much dropped off the map after Spore...
