I loved TTT. Played it at the arcade all the time, but for some reason they removed it two years later.

Can anyone identify the song in the trailer?
Sick. Hope it's in 1080p though. Doesn't make any sense as to why they made Tekken 6 720p when they Made Tekken 5 DR online 1080p.
Gonna be great to get another easy Platinum trophy. Tekken 6's Plat was sooooo easy (cuz I'm really damn good at Tekken ).

Tekken 5 was basically a PS2 port, allowing it to run in 1080p without any performance issues.
720p is okay though, as long as it's in 60FPS.

Yeah, I realize Tekken 5 DR was a port. But I think they should be able to pull 1080p 60FPS because they did it in MGS4 (wasn't always locked in, but still, they did it). I don't think the fact that MGS4 was made by Konami matters either. It's just if a game from 2008 can run at 1080p 60FPS, then a 2011 game sure as hell should be able to.

MGS4 ran at a resolution of 1024x768 (anamorphic widescreen) with 2x temporal AA. (adaptive to increase performance)
Maybe the menu was in 1080p, but the game itself wasnt. -source
And I'm pretty damn sure it didn't run in 60FPS, it barely managed to stay at 30.
Dropped down to like 15 in many cutscenes etc.
Also, the PS3 has limits.
Did he really say "stage gimmick" when they were showing environmental stuff?
I don't think 'gimmick' has the same connotations in japanese gaming as it does in western gaming.
Imagine mass effect 3:
"We are introducing a new biotic gimmick."
Entire crowds will sigh.
No Yoshimitsu?

Or maybe they won't spoil his new awesome super armor.
Who's the female wrestler at the beginning?
I wish Tekken was better. Don't get me wrong. I've owned a lot of Tekken games. I still got a couple of them. But... The game hasn't changed at all in so many years. The only change is the graphics. They should bring something new to the table. Not just use the same game and give it new graphics, new "story" and new GUIs. Tekken is fun like... A little while... Then it gets boring. It should be fun ALL the time!

New characters are being added, old characters get rebalanced/new moves/entirely new moveset, advanced level moves get added (like the low parry), engine optimizations, gameplay gets faster etc. It's the same thing that applies to all fighting games.
example:
Tekken 5 was a hell load faster and better than 4, and we can expect the same situation to happen here with 6/TTT2.
Ergh, Tekken Tag Tournament was the ONLY tekken game I hated.
ALTHOUGH...
I hate what they did to Paul in T6. His new moveset completely slaps regular paul players in the face.
MEANWHILE...
Eddy gets more hyper high/low alternating moves! Even 6 year olds can combo-lock you by tapping X/O

She's called JayCee.
