you shouldn't joke about suicide
Resident Evil's loading screens were terrifying back in the day. The jumpscare in RE2 literally made me piss my pants as a kid.
Jumpscares in loading screens? I never played the original 3 Resident Evil games, but that sounds insidiously brilliant.
Blood Dragon's loading screen is for sure one of the best for me. "Grenades explode." "C400 is like C4, but with two zeroes."
My favorite is probably "Sniper rifles...close-range weapons for when you accidentally select the wrong gun."
yikes, this has got to be the most annoying youtube persona alive. i'm gonna dive into traffic goodbye
Uhh? Didn't you just do that?
What do you do when a company holds a frickin' patent for loading screen mini games?

Farts and burps on command with pitch control via analogue sticks. :poot:

Words can't describe how much I love that loading screen
On a side note, the Dragon Ball Z Budokai games always had fun/cool looking loading screens. This one in particular let you fly the old dude around by spinning the joysticks(around 1:30 in)
Honestly fuck Namco for patenting that and depriving us of loading screen minigames for twenty years.
I remember the Metroid Prime games would just load up rooms in real time. The only real loading screens were the elevators from region to region. If you noclipped out somehow, you'd see the game only loaded like two rooms ahead and behind. This meant that if you went away from a room and returned, the enemies would have respawned. Great shit, shame I don't see it more often.
It also meant if you went screaming through a room the door wouldn't open until the other room was done loading. Could be a pain in the ass when the enemies are attacking you while you are waiting on that door.
Blood Dragon truly is the king of helpful loading screen tips

Helldivers has one tip during a loading screen that said not to drink and drive.

It's just that one seen in the video.
Question is, where was it now?... Try it for yourself :v:
My favorite is definitely the Spec Ops The Line loading screens that start to question your morality.
The loading screens for NFS Most Wanted, Carbon and Undercover are great in my opinion.
Forza 4's loading screen when it's loading a race is good as well.
Dota has loading tips telling people to calm down and not get upset during games.
Xcom 2's loading screens (especially Long War 2) are badass.
