A low poly model of a Rock Raider Transport Truck for a game.
More Rock Raiders stuff coming up
Awesome, rock raiders was the shit.
Looks good, but could need some smoothing certain places, like the top of the chair and the steering wheel.

Nostalgia. Rock Raiders was fucking amazing.
I know, LEGO ruined it with "Power Miners"
Also, Tunnel Transport:

It would've been far better if they had just resurrected rock raiders with new models. Hell, if anything else, the colour schemes would have been better.
Also, any information on the game that this is for?
Sure, FreeBuild, a sandbox building game under development that will connect with the Ldraw library and other stuff and will have a full addon system and a large set of minifig items and maps.
To anyone who uses FumeFx:
Do you know of any tutorials that explain what each function in the FumeFX rollout does? I'm attempting to learn but I don't know which settings to turn down to get a 'rough draft' of my final, which means I'm spending more time rendering far enough to see it than tweaking. :/
I'm afraid I can't post links to other forums can't I.

Oh shit thought I was in the 3d thread. My bad. :v:

You can
Oh gods, nostalgia inbound. I *love* Rock Raiders. Lego really did kill it off with "Power Miners". Come on, that isn't even alliteration.
And yet the model contains 1.5k polygons only.
Thats not low poly
It is for a vehicle.
You should use smoothing groups, at least for the renders.
Freebuild: Made by outcasts of the Blockland Community.
Haha freebuild, also looks like its an attempt to ruin my Blockland Rock Raiders Mod that actually had low poly models, although I never got some one to script up the gamemode.

You don't use a 30 side cylinder for something low-poly. And you didn't apply any smoothing groups so it looks like shit, you should use a 16 side cylinder maybe and then apply smoothing groups for a much more pleasant look.

Trust me, I know how this works.
Jimmg - No, and don't try to move this arguement to FacePunch, even though i'm not really in it.
Packer - Actually ive never seen this before, and to be honest, yours and Kajes works always inspired me to model, since the vanilla blockland times.
Kevlar jens - I agree the cylinders are too high poly, but I can fix that with the polycount reducer, thanks for the tip anyway, and btw, the render has smoothing groups working on the cylinders.
Oh god, not the poly-count reducer!
Well, it did work just fine with my lego princess hair:

From 2k to 100 polygons. And I recently changed it to 200 and it looks MUCH better.
